I haven't been able to find any confirmation on this, so I'll throw it out there and see if you all know:

If any of you have been to the Book Thing lately, you've also probably noticed the number of signs put up about how they need to pay off their mortgage by April 1st.  They need $210,000 and, according to the website, are at a scant $87,000 at this point. 

My question is, how in danger are they of shutting down?  I've never personally dealt with a balloon loan, so I could be way off the mark.  Anyone heard anything?
