"Feeling Good" is a song by American singer Chlöe, recorded for the extended play (EP) Liberated / Music for the Movement Vol. 3 (2021). It is the cover of Nina Simone's 1965 song.
She performed the song live on ABC's Juneteenth: Together We Triumph (June 18) and Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series (June 21). While she faced criticism online for her the former performance for being "too sexy," Simone's granddaughter defended on Twitter, "Everyone's coming at @ChloeBailey for her performance of my grandmother Nina Simone's song 'Feeling Good.' But what y'all don't understand is that grandma was a free spirited woman herself!! She would've loved that performance as much as I do! Relax. Chloe killed it."[1] Bailey said on GMA, "The performance was inspired by [Simone's] spirit and her confidence and her honesty, and I worked incredibly hard to put it together. I still have scrapes and bruises from all the rehearsals. I'm just so happy to see that her granddaughter loved it."[2]
