Dr. Ramatu Dadzie

Dr. Ramatu Mustapha Dadzie is a Senior Lecturer and Dean of the Faculty of Cinematic and Television Arts at the Institute of Film and Television, University of Media Arts and Communication., Accra, Ghana. She lectures in film studies and mediated cultures. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology (Media) from the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra. She undertakes research in Ghanaian cinema cultures, representation and identity in African Cinema, mediated cultures and communication. Her articles have appeared in Modern Africa: Politics, History and Society Journal, Journal of Communication, Media and Society, Journal of African Media Studies and Animation Practice, Processes and Production Journal among others.

Emmanuel Mbede

CRTV Audiovisual Heritage Training and Conservation Institute (IFCPA-CRTV), Cameroon

Emmanuel Mbede teaches at the University of Yaoundé 2 and the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences and Information and Communication Techniques (ESSTIC), Yaoundé. Director of the CRTV Audiovisual Heritage Training and Conservation Institute (IFCPA-CRTV) since 2021 and was Director of Broadcast at CRTV (2016-2021). Producer and documentary filmmaker with six films. Author of Etude sur le développement des médias au Gabon (co-written with Laurent-Charles Boyomo) and Techniques de programmation d’antenne pour la radio et la télévision africaines à l’âge du numérique (2018, with Gervais Mbarga). Board member of the International Radio and Television Union (URTI) and the International Council of French-speaking Radio and Television (CIRTEF).
