Civ 4 community
With the release of Civ 4 this week, I created a community for it:  civ4 Share reviews of the game, compare it to other civs, note problems with it, etc. It's all about Civ 4. Feel free to e-mail me or comment with any suggestions for the community- including how everyone feels about having different communities for the different civ games (ie, there's freeciv, civilizationiii, and civ_is_cool) |

Civ 4 is out!
As of October 25, Civ 4 is out! New features: Malinese as a playable race. Multiple unique units: Americans have F-16 and Navy SEALS. Unit sounds in their own language. This includes Nahuatl. Let me know how they did :) Ground-up multiplayer design. Cities no longer flip and take all your military units with them. Number of city corruption has been removed. Improved worker automation. Ground-up multiplayer design. Current Mood: expectant |

civilization 1
hello ! im really partial to the original sid meiers civilization, but now my computer doesnt have a floppy disk drive.. and i couldnt copy the game from the disks onto a cd.. anyways, i was wondering if theres anywhere i can get it , esp download it for free??? thanks a lot! joe |

Civ 4 is due out before christmas. Check out http://www.civanon.com if you haven't already, it's hilarious and informative. They're getting rid of all the not fun stuff, like tile pollution, corruption due to number of cities, and cities suddenly flipping sides with your armies inside(well, armies will be out also, but they're being replace by combined arms.) |
