Aren't you fed-up with garbage, full-of-shit sites where nobody actually communicates, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter? Do you wish your old friends who've migrated to those sites would return to LiveJournal? The the_lj_revival community has been set up with that aim in mind, and you are invited to join it. If you are already on LiveJournal and still have a Facebook profile, and would like to see more people returning to LJ or setting up accounts here, we invite you to post a link to this community on your Facebook Timeline. If you would like to find out who is still using LiveJournal and make contact with those who are already here, you are invited to copy and paste the 'about me' questions on the profile page and post them with your answers to the community.

| Need a hand-fired coal stove? |
[27 Aug 2008|03:53pm] |
A friend of mine has a Harman Mark 3 hand-fired coal stove available. Price - $ 500 - buyer picks up; it's in the northern Tioga County area, between Ithaca and Binghamton. Also - 1 ton of mostly pea-sized bagged coal, some older chestnut (bagged separately) as well. Priced per bag, negotaible. Powerful and affordable heating method if you don't mind a little extra time and attention in exchange for lower heating costs.
Requires a few feet of clearance on three sides. Interested? Let me know and I'll put you in touch.

| Hair Help... |
[02 Aug 2008|05:06pm] |
|
I just moved to the area last year and have yet to have a haircut that I loved. I've had one person cut my hair that I don't think gave a crap about what I wanted. I've had another person who is very skilled but I think is a bit out of touch with "young/hip" haircuts. I wanted a long, angled bob and instead, I got an inch and a half lobbed off with no angle. I feel like PollyAnna and I need this to be fixed. =(
Can anyone direct me to a salon in Binghamton, Oneonta or Chenango County areas? I'd prefer not to spend over $30 for a cut, but it's negotiable. Thanks.
