Selling is definately allowable as long as it has something to do with art (paintings, supplies, jewelry, etc)...keep in mind that we have no liability regarding this so make sure you trust the person posting. If you've enjoyed/hated the transaction leave them feedback so the rest of us know.
Promoting is fine as long as it is related to art, music, writing, etc.
