I really wish this would have worked out. I was looking forward to buy gifts for a secret mommy and her baby. Oh well.. Perhaps some other time we should set up a grab bag again and exchange gifts with somebody. That would be nice.

Hey, I'm finishing my shopping this weekend and I checked my "to buy" list and it occurs to me...I didn't get my secret mommy's info! Did I just miss it? Or did it not happen? Please let me know folks :) so I can get and ship my gift ASAP! Thanks!

i'm going to have to leave the community because i've already gotten all my holiday shopping done and there's no way i'm going to have time to make and buy presents for this now. in the future hopefully we'll get names and info faster and things will be a little more organized so it will be easier to participate. happy holidays to everyone.

then, you will each recieve an lj-comment with your secret mommy's name and information. it will be deleted almost immediatly, to ensure no one else sees it! but by the time it's deleted, it should have already made it to your mailbox. i hope that works, lol, or else i'll just have to go and send individual emails to everyone, which won't be a problem unless your mailbox doesn't allow strangers sending you email. i'll just keep my fingers crossed.

i've only gotten one response on how we should work it for the mommys with multiple children... i need to know how many mommys to give you, if you want one, or two, or whatever...

likes: I like movies, especially horror flicks! And books, I love to read. And write. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and Christmas is a close second. I'm a Creative Memories consultant and I love to scrapbook! I love animals and have two cats and a ferret. Finally, I love to cook and am addicted to kitchen gadgets.
dislikes: spiders. I HATE spiders. Also clutter; I am surrounded by clutter and Flylady is currently helping me get rid of it! I'm trying to work on having only useful things and things I love surround me. :)

likes: soft, colorful things. He has a bright orange stuffed snake that he loves. Mirrors are beginning to fascinate him, and he likes stuff that makes noise and plays music.
dislikes: Right now, he isn't really into toys much yet...I know he will be soon, but he hasn't shown much interest in grabbing at anything or playing with any of his toy-like things yet; he likes to look at things (like the stuffed animals), especially if they play music and flash bright lights at him. :)
