Hello to all the Pantera fans out there! I'm from Russia and I'm a huge fan of the band. I need some help. I'm looking for lyrcis of the first Pantera albums: Metal Magic (1983), Projects In The Jungle (1984), I Am The Night (1985), Power Metal (1988). You are my only hope, because it' pretty hard to find those lyrics on the Net. At least, for me.
My e-mail: podowinnoe2005@yandex.ru
I would appreciate if you'll mail me those lyrics! Thanks! Cheers.

[15 May 2006|06:18pm] |
Hello. I hate to impose, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding a certain image. One of my clients wants the Cowboys from Hell Cowgirl, but no one can seem to find it. I don't know if it was inside the album cover or if it was strictly a promotional image. I've never seen it, but this guy swears that it exists...that his brother had the poster before a spouse threw it away.
Can anyone help this canadian inker?

PANTERA: 'Behind The Music' Special To Include New Interviews, 'Shocking' Alrosa Villa Video BLABBERMOUTH.NET has received more information about the upcoming VH1 "Behind the Music" special on PANTERA, which has a premiere date of May 11. According to Dan Masek, who worked on the program as a segment producer, the show will include brand new interviews with the surviving members of PANTERA — Vinnie Paul Abbott (drums), Philip Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass) — along with appearances by Guy Sykes (tour manager), Walter O'Brien (manager), Terry Date (producer), about five members of PANTERA's/DAMAGEPLAN's crew, and Rita Haney ("Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's girlfriend). "We also have a few special guests that will be appearing in the show," Masek told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "This includes other musicians who were friends with PANTERA as well as some people who were closely involved in the Alrosa Villa shooting. The episode also features shocking video and police dispatch/911 calls from the tragic night of the shooting."
"Behind the Music: Pantera" will premiere on Thursday, May 11 at 10:00 p.m. Check local listings for more information.
PANTERA's career overview CD, "The Best of Pantera: Far Beyond the Great Southern Cowboys' Vulgar Hits!" (Elektra/Rhino), was certified platinum on January 13, 2006 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments in excess of one million copies in the U.S.
The 16-song "Vulgar Hits!" CD, originally issued in September 2003, was packaged with a bonus DVD boasting 12 videos, including two live performances. The bulk of the material was culled from the band's six major-label releases, but also included were non-album cuts "Cat Scratch Fever" (a cover of the TED NUGENT song that originally appeared on the Polygram soundtrack to "Detroit Rock City") and the BLACK SABBATH cover "Hole in the Sky", previously available only on import.
PANTERA's classic "Vulgar Display of Power" (Elektra) album was certified double-platinum in 2004, signifying shipments of more than 2,000,000 units in the U.S. since its February 25, 1992 release.
Rhino Video earlier in the month released PANTERA's "3 Vulgar Videos From Hell" — a three-DVD set featuring all the band's videos as well as live footage shot during the Monsters of Rock gig in Moscow. Originally released on DVD in 1999, this version features the same content with improved menus and all-new Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. In fact, it is the first PANTERA release ever in 5.1 Surround Sound. It features: "Cowboys From Hell The Videos", "Vulgar Video", "3 Watch It Go", and "Pantera Live From Monsters of Rock In Moscow".

REBEL MEETS REBEL's VINNIE PAUL On Favorite "Dimebag" Solo, 'Get Outta My Life': "Every Time I Hear It I Get Goosebumps" BW&BK recently spoke with REBEL MEETS REBEL drummer Vinnie Paul (ex-PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN) for an upcoming feature in Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles magazine. The following is an excerpt from the interview:
Q: What is one or two of the greatest "Dime" moments on it (Rebel Meets Rebel album), riffs, solos?
A: "I think my favorite solo, and it's probably one of my favorite solos we did ever, is 'Get Outta My Life'. It's really thought out. It just builds and builds, and it's got a great melody to it, and some smokin' stuff in there. And, you know, every time I hear it I get goosebumps, and it just makes me so proud of him. I know it was one of his favorite leads to, so it's about time people got to hear it."
As previously reported, Vinnie recently told Launch that a touring version of Rebel Meets Rebel, the country-metal project featuring his late brother and guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, ex-Pantera bassist Rex Brown and "outlaw" country singer David Allan Coe, could be a reality: "If the record does pretty good and it seems like there's some interest there, I think maybe me and Rex and David will probably try to find us a guitar player that would be appropriate and maybe do, you know, a month's worth of dates or something, 'cause it would be fun to get up there and play, you know, those songs live."
Rebel Meets Rebel's self-titled album was recorded over a four-year period before Abbott was slain on December 8th, 2004 by a disturbed gunman.
The Rebel Meets Rebel album will be released on May 2nd through Paul's newly launched label, Big Vin Records. A tribute DVD to Abbott, called Dimevision, will also come out that day.
The first single from Rebel Meets Rebel's album is 'Get Outta My Life'

VINNIE PAUL To Guest On KNAC.COM This Monday Former PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott will call in to speak to KNAC.COM's Junkman on Monday, April 3 at 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). Vinnie will talk about his current projects, including his own record label, and REBEL MEETS REBEL — the project featuring three of the founding members of PANTERA (Vinnie Paul, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and bassist Rex Brown) together with legendary country singer/outlaw David Allan Coe.
As previously reported, the official release party for the debut album from REBEL MEETS REBEL and the "DimeVision - Vol 1: That's The Fun I Have" DVD tribute to Dimebag will be held on May 2 at the Clubhouse in Dallas, Texas. "We will have one hell of a night celebrating these historic releases," said Vinnie, who is putting out both the CD and DVD on May 2 through his own Big Vin Records label. "Of course I will be there, David Allan Coe and Miss Kim will be there and no telling who else… Hillbilly Orchestra, Dr.Rock and all the lovely Clubhouse dancers will provide the evenings entertainment as well as a healthy dose of PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN and David Allan Coe music and 'Dimevision' will be on the big screens all night!!!!"

| Free iPod (not scam, i swear) |
[29 Mar 2006|09:32am] |
Hi everyone. I know I don't post to this community very often, but this is pretty cool. I found this site, http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=28893614, where you can get a free iPod. All you have to do is register for one of the free available services, refer five other people, and you'll get a free ipod nano or ipod video.
Don't worry, I'm not some crazy spammer or part of any "congo line", but this is the real deal. I did some research, and I found this two articles: http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2004Aug/gee20040819026544.htm and http://www3.netmart.com/free-ipod.htm. Both of the articles say that this particular site has been around for a while, and actually is legit.
If you guys are interested, it's pretty easy. Just register on the site, then choose one of the offered free trials (I would personally suggest the RealArcade trial, because Real/RealPlayer is an authentic and reliable company/program. Not only is it free, but I immediately ended my trial after beginning it). After that, just get five other people to register and you should get an iPod.
Thanks for reading my post. Bye everyone.

[08 Dec 2005|11:06am] |
One year ago today, a metal legend was slain and taken from us. Metal lost a big part of itself one year ago, and now it will never be the same. I love you, brother Dime. I can't believe it's been a year since our brother, idol, hero, friend, metal fucking god has been taken from us. Instead of being sad, everyone should fucking shread like crazy and knock back a few blacktooths. Do it for Dime man, and don't let him be forgotten. Turn December 8th into a fucking MASSACRE and let the whole fucking world remember that horrible night one fucking year ago.
You won't see much of me today, I'll be at Alrosa Villa paying my respects. Forever is his name. DIMEBAG DARRELL August 20, 1966 - December 8, 2004 NEVER FORGET - Riff in peace, brother. My tribute to The Dimebag.
( WE'LL MEET AGAINCollapse )
