I think I found a picture from the artist who restored and painted my  atobemannequin's face (I bought him from a second hand dealer in Texas so apart from being made in Germany, his origins have been a bit of a mystery).
I know those eyebrows anywhere.

Two goals I want to achieve by July:
~ Get the Mannequinverse episode list up to date.
~ Get a regular update schedule going again.
As I mentioned in my last post, I've been busy with work (x2) and studying (x2). To have any hope of getting back to a regular schedule I'm going to have to scale mannequinverse back to one post per week. How do Thursdays sound?
I want to start my next arc. Yukimura has done nothing for like six months now, that lazy shit.

It's not really a surprise that I've put on weight, haaa. I initially gained back about 6 or 7 kilos, but now that I've settled into my new school/work routine I've been able to squeeze some boxing back in and I'm only 2.5 off my original weight. That can be my third goal to reach by July, lol.
Last Tuesday's assessment: Beer battered fish with home-made tartare sauce :D
And I guess it's worth a shot... would anybody in the US be willing to receive something in the mail on my behalf and then forward it onto my address in Australia? I'd pay all postage, obviously, and I'd send you a little something back as thanks. Let me know :P |

At the moment I am
-working in a supermarket bakery
-studying a cert III in patisserie
-working in before/after school care
-studying a cert IV in children's services
-still trying to get to the gym every day
So yeaaaaah, that's why mannequinverse posts are never on time. Monday's post WAS going to be on time but then my friend called me to her place on Sunday night because there was a gecko in her pantry and she was scared. It ended up curling itself into a gap in the skirting boards so getting it out took a great deal of poking and patience.
Here it is! In the bottom of a coffee cup!
It's living in my garden now, hopefully not getting eaten by spiders.

Busy month so far.
Managed to wreck myself at boxing, not entirely sure what I did but my sternum was very inflamed and very unhappy. Lived off chia shakes for a while and had to take a week off boxing, so when I got back into it I tried to make up for lost time and went nuts on my cardio and strap rows. BOOM. Another week off training.
Placement has been good! Before and after school care, if you missed the previous post. After three shifts my colleagues gave me the regional manager's email address and told me to ask him for a job with them. Asked him for a job, sat an interview and now I have another job. I'll be at the same school doing exactly the same hours as my placement hours except I'll be getting paid for it now. That's damn cool.
I ate some broken ganache because I didn't want to throw it in the bin and now I feel sick. Aaaaaghghfkaskbnaalkdh. |

The new PoT stuff would be a lot better
if this guy was still around ;_;
He had quite a lot of fangirls back in the day so it's kind of sad to see him relegated to non-speaking appearances in the background. At least we got that pairpuri episode where he and Saeki are picking up chicks on the beach, though (I only just found out it existed, hnnngh).
This is going to be a hectic month or so. I'm a full time student again - Certificate IV in Children's Services! - so I'll be starting placement next week. Also going to move in with a friend for a while to help her out until she finds some housemates. Annnd, I'm still working.
Mannequinverse is going on hiatus for March.
I might have to reassess my update schedule after that, but I won't be ending it altogether. it's my only creative outlet! |
