What's up! I am Da Spida! My friends just call me that anyway cause I'm into Spider-Man. That and I use to read an African story book called "Annauncy the Spider-Man" alot. So I guess the name fits huh? Makes you wonder where Stan-Lee really got his inspiration from. Anyways, I am a single 23 year old black guy, who is an artist and a gamer. I'm just lookin' to make new friends.

A little about me. Yes I'm a fun guy. I get into video games often. Sometimes I think I play too much of them. (XD) I love the older style of gameplay, though sometimes I think I'm the only one left in this genre who still appreciates the classics. Of all the new stuff that comes about, I hope gaming still stays humble, still fun, still pure...

Let's see, if I had to list the machines own. I guess you can say I have pretty much every major system ever released from the late 80's to early 90's on up. I have Nintendo, Genesis, Game Gear, Saturn, SNES, N64, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, PS1, Gamecube, Sega CD, 3DO, Neo-Geo CD and pretty much all the others. I'm a little embarrased that I own all these systems.

Let's see if I were to pick a genre I'd say I'm into everything except sports. (Yeah, I suck at sports, bleh.) But I can play a good solid adventure/shooter game whatever. I'm mainly into 2-D beat-'em-ups and fighting games. I pretty much play/played every good Arcade game there is. I'm so oldschool. the franchises I stand by that supports my gaming needs are Capcom, SNK, Sega, Sammy, Tecmo, etc. So I guess that you can say everybody. Don't challenge me unless you bring it!

But video games aren't the only thing in life. I also draw. I do mostly comic book art. I am working to become a great comic book artist and even make my own cartoons and own my own business. That sort of thing. I'd like to do it on my own power, utilizing the resources I obtain as each day goes by. Eh, it's a start.

As well as drawing them I also collect comics. I got everything ranging from Spider-Man to Ben 10! But recently I just stopped so I mainly got old stuff. To give you an example I have Peter Parker Spider-Man in: Revalations, Maximum Carnage, Batman Vs. The Hulk, some Dead Pool Stuff, a Street Fighter comic, the 3rd issue of Static Shock. That sorta thing.

I mainly watch anime. I guess that's the high point in my life right now. I'm always waiting for the latest filler in Naruto or sitting down to watch the latest thing to hit State side. I'm a youtube junky, if I see an anime on there I'm watching it. I have alotta favorite animes, DBZ, Cutie Honey, Astro Boy, Bog O, I'd have to say my favorite is Sailor Moon. I honestly don't think anyone can beat her. Yeah, I must have a chemical im-balance in my head or something for saying that. Especially seeing the way Usagi/Serena acts. But un-deniably she is the great one. I watch alotta regular TV too. If it's hot I'll watch it. WWE RAW Is WAR, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Star Trek, Smallville, Martin, In Living Single, Adult Swim, Saturday Night Live, X-Play, the works. My favorite movies are action and aged Disney movies. My favorite music is all kinds of music. Except 50 Cent I don't listen to that crap!

To discribe my persona these days, online I'm loud, a bit immature, charismatic, hyper, cheesy, um... pretty much all of the above. The loud part of me often uses humor and the charisma thing with me is when I shout out random words. An example is whenever I say: COOLZVILLE, KUNG-POW, or ALRIGHT! I just like to get alot of adrenaline pumping with people since sometimes the world bores me. As for my normal self I'm too consious of what people think of me. I try to balance my kid-like personality with calmness and a level head. In real life I'm a bit more quiet and shy. GAWD I'm so glad they invented the Internet so I can let out my other attributes! Otherwise I'd have to go jump off a cliff out of pure insanity! Have you any idea what being a quiet person is like, too afraid to say the wrong thing? It's not very fun. If you've ever talked to me on the phone I sound intimidating. One person said I sounded like a serial killer... Yes I have that kinda voice. Don't worry I wouldn't harm a fly. If I got issues with something or someone I'd go pound the keyboards in my journal.

Also, you'll notice I have alot of GIFS on this page. Yes well I can explain, the second I learned how to photobucket and write code I went bonkers and created images all over the place. I apologize if the page loads up slow. I plan on deleting them some day, when I don't feel lazy. that's one of my major weaknessess, laziness. I'll get over it soon.

In closing I'll say this, any arcade players are more then welcome here. Gamers/Artists/Fanboys/Fangals, all other walks of life too. One other thing, female gamers let me know you exist. Because my ignorant, sexist, frog-faced, friend said that ALL women suck at playing video-games, especially 2-D fighters. He keeps telling me he can beat any women in any video-game. Will someone please BRING HIM DOWN A NOTCH!!!!

"The DS Card!" Da Spida is the peoples champion! He will right wrongs and triumph over evil! He is a friend to all mankind and will stay true to his nature. So if ever you need a tag team partner in DOA, if ever you need a bottle of orange soda to be drunken, if ever you need a companion to help you search for the Dragonballs, if ever you need Tsukino Usagi to be kissed... DS (Da Spida) will be there. WARNING! This does not apply to, murderers, criminals, or super villains in anyway. Infact if you are an opponent of Da Spida's forget anything you just heard.
