On June 28th, 2024, the official BattlefieldComms X (Twitter) account released an article announcing that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield Hardline would be removed from all digital storefronts on July 31st, 2024. This delisting took place ahead of the end of online services for these titles on November 7th.
On Wednesday, July 31st the following #Battlefield titles will be removed from digital storefronts and you will no longer be able to purchase them and all extra related content such as DLC.
- Battlefield 3 (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)
- Battlefield 4 (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)
- Battlefield: Hardline (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)
Online services for these titles on these platforms will end on November 7th, 2024. While the online components of these titles close for these platforms, if you own the game, you will still be able to play the single-player component.

@BattlefieldComms post on X – June 28, 2024
The standard edition of the PS3 versions of Battlefield 4 and Hardline were removed from sale on August 18th, 2024, and the premium editions were later removed by October 2nd, 2024. This left the North American-only Battlefield Bundle as the only way to purchase the two games until it was delisted on October 11th.
On March 23rd, 2026, the BattlefieldComms account would release another notice announcing that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox versions of Hardline would be delisted on May 22nd, 2026 and would have their servers shut down a month after that, on June 22nd.
On Friday, May 22nd, Battlefield Hardline on Xbox One and PlayStationÂŪ4 will be removed from digital storefronts, and you will no longer be able to purchase it and all extra related content, such as DLC.
Online services on these platforms will end on Monday, June 22nd. While Hardline will no longer support online functionality on Xbox One and PlayStationÂŪ4, players who own the game will still be able to play the single-player component.
Please note: Todayâs update does not impact PC. Battlefield Hardline on PC will remain available, including online services.
If you’d like to learn more about the sunsetting process, you can refer to the FAQ here or check out our delisting page here.

Thank you for your understanding!
Battlefield 4 and Hardline remain available and supported on PC platforms, and all versions of the affected Battlefield games are available on physical media.
About the Game
Be the law or Break the law in Battlefield™ Hardline. This action-packed blockbuster combines intense signature multiplayer moments of Battlefield with an emotionally charged story and setting reminiscent of a modern television crime drama.
In a visceral single-player campaign youâll play the role of Nick Mendoza, a young detective who embarks on a cross-country vendetta, seeking revenge against once trusted partners on the force.
In multiplayer youâll hunt criminals, raid vaults, and save hostages in new cop and criminal inspired modes like Heist and Rescue.
