Note from Comm owner [04 Jun 2006|02:47pm]

babymine

I have been open to a mod to help with this community. That is still the case. My son had back to back strokes this year so my life has been pretty hectic with him and the other children. If you need to contact me the best way to do it would be to email me at babymine@livejournal.com since I dont get on daily or sometimes weekly to check LJ.

Any suggestions, please post them here in the comments. Im open to suggestions to make this a used tool.

Thanks

hi.. I noticed this was kind of a "we hate Little Lambs" group, so I decided to post my story even though it's not very active here. basically I figure the more people I can warn, the better, right?

we'll try to make a long story short.

won two auctions in early march. mailed off money order immediately. waited. early april, contacted seller asking where my diapers were. seller emailed back, stating money order was received on march 24 and diapers would be shipped that week. SELLER LIED! weeks later, still no diapers. emailed seller, no response. emailed again, threatening dispute. seller pretended to not kow who I was. asked my name, email address and how I paid. I forwarded back her statement that she received my payment, and said I wanted my diapers immediately. and she said, she had no record of my payment. even tried saying it was long overdue and I should pay, again! grr. opened a dispute which got no where, couldn't elevate to claim since each auction was worth leass than $25 each. basically I'm out the money.

oh yeah, and I left negative feedback and, as expected, got negative in return. then she offered a request for mutual feedback retraction, which I ignored. I will suck it up. I have 100% positive besides that, I'm sure people will be able to tell it's retaliatory. I am not under any circumstances going to be scared away from telling the truth about this awful seller.

oh yeah, and as for the quality of the diapers... I have no idea. I've never gotten to use one.

edit: I JUST FOUND OUT NOW THAT SHE'S BEEN SUSPENDED A WEEK AGO. YAY!!!

an idea [15 Apr 2006|04:47pm]

i just joined and am a little surprised at the lack of activity in this community. i was thinking that maybe some sort of diaper "standard" review form (ie. type, place of purchase, price, positives, negatives, etc.) could be made so that members could actually have some sort of format to review diapers. i think this community could really take off in that respect... and it would be extremely helpful to people, like me, who are still learning and newly experiencing the world of cloth diapering. thoughts? :)

so what is YOUR personal experience with little lambs?

she emailed her just to let her know that after 3 weeks of use and trying everything possible to make them not leak, i wasn't pleased with the diapers. i didn't even expect her to, but she OFFERED to refund my money, and now she's getting all snippy about it and i think i've been nothing but polite to her. ugh. her customer service has been great up to this point, but i'm kind of annoyed now, and THREE WEEKS for a refund check?! why can't she use paypal??? and i really don't think that just a couple washings in hard water caused them to repel... my FBs were fleece-lined and washed in the same water (we have soft now though) and THEY don't repel. they leaked from the start... they always wicked to the outside print layer of fabric, none of them were the same size, and i was never able to make it more than 2 hours without a diaper change... they barely made it two hours.
