Drabble:

She’s avoiding the mirror most of the time now, simply because she doubts she’s going to recognize the person looking back at her anymore.

It’s been too long since she had a good night’s sleep and when she’s falling asleep nowadays, she’s dreaming about him - and herself, trying to hold on to his lifeless body.

And the nights are the worst when she tries to hold on to everything that’s left of him, like a mirror – a door into a different world and a different time - long gone and seemingly too far away to be remembered correctly anymore.
