First, a glorious year 2014 to you all, it has already been quite busy for me, but this morning I had a little gift to make and so decided to make a poppy. Yeah, sometimes I just decide to make flowers! ^^

Anyway, here's the result. I like it I actually didn't expect it to look this good since I made it quickly, except for the stem carved in wood, that I made yesterday. So it is made with wood, copper, metal, and paper, and not that much glue actually!
I hope you will like it! ;)

Haven't been knitting this winter basically at all.. Well a little, finally made a hat for my mom that I was supposed to do almost two years ago D: Embarrassing..
Any how here it is:

Pattern was from here, except my eyes lied to me.. I thought it was little different and that's why chose it. I realized my mistake not until it was ready and it was time to add the embellishment.

I thought it's like this (white marking showing the wideness I imagined):

The embellishment should be wide, not just some lame I-cord with the wide tail.. I was so annoyed when realizing the truth. I tried to knit my vision, but it just started to curl up and.. argh.
Then I decided some nice crocheted flower will do. Only problem is, I cannot crochet. So I spent one whole f*cking day to learn to crochet that damn flower!
There's two separate flowers sewed on each other to make it double, but I don't have proper picture of it :L

hey! i need some help. i found a dragonfly awhile back, it was dead. but i would like to preserve it somehow. its still intact and looks cool. i dont know how to keep it looking nice though. do i use a spay to seal it? how would i preserve it in glass or something similiar? im not sure what my options are and what i need to do to!!! any suggestions? or any help would be much appreciated!

Hey
I do macreme, but im not up to buying expensive hemp. Recently I have been using anything I can get my hands on, t-shirt strips, shoelaces, crochet string, and yarn. The t shirt macrame looks really cool if you use tie dye shirts. I'm kind of getting bored of just using these material. Anyone have any ideas of what else I could possibly use?
I got so desperate that I am considering using that wierd netting bag around oranges just because of the cool texture.
NEED IDEAS!

Wanted a newsboy cap. Was hard to find a pattern for such, but finally I found this one. It's not exactly what i was looking for, but I guess it'll do.. Modified the peak a little, mostly because i cannot crochet AT ALL x) and it also looks better when knitted.

I made that for my boyfriend, using a pair of gloves, wool, ribbons and some buttons. Spent less that $6 at Daiso and it's all worth it in the end! :)
