I heard Volume 12 came out late last year? ;__;

What happens in the end? T__T; Volume 11 raws kept me wanting more [if you saw them, you'll understand].

Ahaha, well, seeing as this community is dead... I figured it be nice to write a topic about it. XD

Just thought you'd like to know that the Yen Press site is up and it lists Angel Diary Vol. 6 as coming out this July! Yay!

What can I say, although this community was long neglected, I love this title and I decided to join.

I'm sure some of you have been wondering what happened to Angel Diary's releases and I stumbled over this interesting piece of news to share...

Remember ICE Kunion, the copublishing venture between Korean publishers Sigonsa, Seoul Cultural and Haksen, aimed at bringing Korean manhwa to the American market? The ICE Kunion list is being completely absorbed by Hachette’s new graphic novel imprint Yen Press with plans to begin publishing all the ICE Kunion licenses beginning in spring of 2008.

Yen Press expects to release 30-40 volumes of Korean manhwa next year. “We plan to pick up all the existing [ICE Kunion] titles,” said Yen Press co-director of publishing Kurt Hassler. “We’re going to continue everything, so fans shouldn’t worry. None of these series are going to fall into a void.”

I typically don't do introduction posts, but this community seems pretty not-even-close-to-swamped so I hope that none of you mind. DDD: I wish I could come bearing gifts of some sort, pertaining to shh!secret information! or icons and the like, but really, all I have is this boring intro.

I hope that more people join the community in the future, but it seems manhwa is much slower in penetrating the fandom world. Which is a shame since the storyline and artwork are so adorably addictive!

At some point or another I'll most likely be dropping by for feedback on a Dong-Young (specifically, the portrait of Chun-Yoo-Nim) cosplay I am hoping to debut at Fanime this year. It has been four years since I last cosplayed though, so I'm not really sure if my rusty sewing skills will be up to the task of completing the costume in time for the convention, hahaha. Haaaaaa. I set such lofty goals for myself. *bricked*

That said, once I can locate scans of the manhwa maybe I'll also get into iconing for the series! Pleased to meet all.... 8 of you. XDD; Praise to The Powers That Be for more activity in this community in the future!!
