Xerophilia is the property of living beings to prefer dry habitats. Living beings with this property are called xerophil. Organisms that prefer dry warm habitats are called xerothermophil. Xerophilie ist die Eigenschaft von Lebewesen, trockene Lebensräume zu bevorzugen. Lebewesen mit dieser Eigenschaft nennt man xerophil. Organismen, die trockene warme Lebensräume bevorzugen, nennt man xerothermophil.
