Adarga

An armor is a shield made of leather and oval shaped and later with a heart shape. Originally used by the Muslim cavalry of Al-Ándalus, with the name of addárqa. It is very resistant to the sword and the spear. In the centuries XIV and XV the adarga was used by the infantry and Christian cavalry until in the 16th century the use of firearms was made general. Nevertheless it continued in use in the seventeenth century in cavalry fighting among the peninsular nobility, because at that time it took a lot to recharge a weapon, and the sword and spear remained important until the appearance of the bayonet. The boulders were of great application for the games of reeds and running piggy banks. "The most suitable for reeds must be large, half-up stiff and half-down soft because it can be folded over the horse's hips. The collar in the middle of it and must have two arms and a handle and a Come from the shoulder like a tahali, with its buckle to shorten and lengthen.
