The Cantabrian Sea is the Atlantic Ocean coastline that bathes the north coast of Spain and the extreme south-west of the Atlantic coast of France; Is the southern part of the Bay of Biscay. It extends from the Estaca de Bares point, in the province of La Coruña, to the mouth of the river Adur, near the city of Bayonne, on the coast of the department of Pyrenees Atlantiques, in the French Basque Country. Baña 800 kilometers of coast shared by the provinces of La Coruña and Lugo, Asturias, Cantabria, Vizcaya Guipúzcoa ... El mar Cantábrico es el mar litoral del océano Atlántico que baña la costa Norte de España y el extremo Suroeste de la costa atlántica de Francia; supone la zona Sur del golfo de Vizcaya. Se extiende desde la punta Estaca de Bares, en la provincia de La Coruña, hasta la desembocadura del río Adur, cerca de la ciudad de Bayona, en la costa del departamento de Pirineos Atlánticos, en el País Vasco Francés.
