Comedy

Comedia

Comedy is one of the parts that compose the dramatic genre, which is mainly characterized because its protagonist characters are faced with the difficulties of everyday life and that is why they face the same ones by making people or their "audience" laugh, Moved by their own defects to happy outcomes where human weakness is made mockery. Comedy is, along with tragicomedy, one of the classic forms of Greek drama, and one of three dramatic genres called realistic. Comedy originates in the Greek world, but it develops throughout the Middle Ages and from the Modern Age to the present day. The Greeks and Romans used the term to refer to plays with a happy ending, and for the Middle Ages these works were presented with a more "light" approach, and later as synonymous with satire.
