Definition of jabeca in the Spanish dictionary

The definition of jabeca in the dictionary is a distillation oven, formerly used in Almadén, Spain, which consisted of a rectangular factory with its tip and draft chimney, and covered by a barrel vault with several rows of holes, where the pots were placed almost full of mineral of quicksilver stirred with ant. En el diccionario castellano jabeca significa horno de destilación, usado antiguamente en Almadén, España, que consistía en una fábrica rectangular con su punta y chimenea de tiro, y cubierta por una bóveda en cañón con varias filas de agujeros, donde se colocaban las ollas casi llenas de mineral de azogue revuelto con hormigo.
