Keratin

Keratin

Keratin is a strong and insoluble fiber protein that forms hair, nails, skin, horns and teeth. The amino acids that combine to form keratin have unique properties and depend on the level of amino acids, keratin can be inflexible and hard in animal or soft animal cases in the skin case. Keratin is found in the outer layer of human skin and other animals. External skin layer cells contain keratin and make the skin strong and nearly waterproof. In places where the skin is exposed to friction and pressure as in the hands and feet, the number of cells containing keratin increases and the bones begin to form. Cells containing keratin are always dated and replaced with new ones. The condition called dandruff occurs because the scalp removes the cell.
