Anosmia is the total loss of smell and hyposmia is the reduction of smell, due to olfactory nerve damage, obstruction of the nasal passages or other diseases. Anosmia é a perda total do olfato e hiposmia é a diminuição do olfato, ocorrida por lesão no nervo olfativo, obstrução das fossas nasais ou outras doenças.
