Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Removal of WP:REDLINKS links
[edit]Hello Happypenguins82, and thank you for your interest in contributing to Wikipedia. In case you haven't seen it, I would strongly encourage you to read Wikipedia:Red link, the editing guidelines for handling red links. As explained there, they should generally remain on articles, as they indicate pages that need to be created. Please stop removing them en masse from pages where they are beneficial. - Hello SlvrHwk, thank you for reaching out, point well taken.
- I should have asked, or discussed this over in the project’s talk page, instead of removing the red links (because they tend to pile up in backlogs), I understand it’s OK to keep the red links, but since there are so many of them (which can affect readability) maybe they should be concentrated in a designated section in the project page under ‘articles for creation’? And also add the Cleanup red links template at the top of the articles? That could encourage editors to create the missing articles.
