"Where we going, Daddy?"

Harry tugged down on Jasmin's hat, making sure her ears were covered. "I am leaving you in the care of your father while I run some errands," he said. "Ben, are you ready?"

Ben gave Barnabus a final pat and stood up straight. "I'm ready."

"Okay," said Harry. "We're making a quick stop at the Pinkery first."

Harry ordered a toffee nut latte for Draco, mulled cider for Joshua, and fancy hot chocolates for the children. Then, with his minions in tow, he left Madam Puddifoot's and headed down the street to Draco's shop.

"Ho ho ho!" Harry called out in greeting as they entered.

"Hi, Daddy! Hi, Mr Joss!" chirped Jasmin. She yanked her hat off, causing her hair to stand on end with static.

Draco smiled and flicked a charm at her to smooth her hair.

Harry handed drinks around. "Rum punch for you, Mr McWeasley, and Draco, I got you some Ogden's fire whiskey."

Draco accepted his latte with a sigh of long suffering. "Dare I ask what you got for the children?"

"Spiked eggnog," Harry replied cheerfully. "You two behave yourselves."

"Okay, Dad," said Ben.

"I was talking to your father and Joshua."

"Harry, don't you have something to do?"

Harry grinned at his husband, saluted, and walked out the door.

"M'sieur Potter-Malfoy, how nice to see you today."

"Likewise, M'sieur le Carriere," said Harry. Ashton's grandfather had the finest jewelry store in all of Diagon Alley. "I'm here to look at charms."

M'sieur le Carriere set three trays of various charms on the counter and left Harry to peruse them as he went to assist another customer.

Harry had no idea what he wanted to get for Carolyn's bracelet; he hoped to be inspired by what was on offer. "Ah," he beamed upon spying a badger charm. It would be perfect for Carolyn. Better yet, there were two such charms. Harry planned to buy the other one for Narcissa to remind her of her oldest grandchild. Next, Harry selected a pretty necklace for Molly featuring a lovely, heart-shaped pendant. Finally, Harry pored over the cuff links. He found a silver pair in the shape of dragons--a perfect gift for Draco.

Harry paid for his purchases and arranged for them to be delivered to Malfoy Manor, the Lesser.

Harry's next stop was to get new pants for himself and Draco. He requested very special script on each, paying handsomely for the customization. Harry visited a few more shops before Apparating back to Hogsmeade. Before returning to Draco's shop, Harry went across the street to Mr Toadvine's toy shop.

Mr Toadvine was busy carving a wooden figurine. He looked up with a smile on his face. His expression turned to one of panic. He dropped his knife, fumbled for his wand, and cast a quick spell at a shelf behind him.

Harry stood there in bemused silence.

"Er, welcome, Mr Potter-Malfoy. What can I get ye?"

Harry rocked back on his heels and raised his brows. "Is there a problem?"

"O' course not," said Mr Toadvine. "I'm workin' on somethin' new and don't want anyone to see it yet."

"Okaaaaay," said Harry, not quite believing the old wizard but unwilling to press the issue. "I am looking for some toys for the children. Do you have a Kneazle for Ben?"

"Aye," Mr Toadvine replied, all smiles again. "Good choice. Yer husband got a dog for young Benjamin. Lemme show you the Kneazles I've carved and charmed. I'll make sure ye choose somethin' different for your girls, too."

Harry followed Mr Toadvine to the back of the shop, glancing at the newly-obscured shelf and wondering what was hidden there.
