I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but our Enterprise Project forum page has been hacked. :( It now displays the hackers' names, and some other nonsense.

On Wednesday, February 2, UPN and Paramount announced the cancellation of Star Trek: Enterprise. The final episode, the show's 98th, will air in May.

However, as m_j_ says, We have not yet begun to fight!

There are fan projects in the works to support Enterprise and convince The Powers that Be that Trek does not need a break, and we want our fifth season, and beyond.

Visit The Enterprise Project and Enterprise Fans for more information. Spread the word to your friends!

Also, if you live in the Los Angeles area, we are planning a march on UPN/Paramount on February 10. We'd love to see you there! Details on the Enterprise Project's web site!

please take a copy of my icon for your own use to promote the next season... live journal is a deceptively powerful grapevine tool so if you're excited worried bitchy ecstatic... let livejournal know!

myself i'm just hoping i get to see alot more Malcolm Reed this season and that they resolve the fact that T'Pol has a drug addiction, a fatal disease and a crush on the commander.

Help Support Enterprise And Make a Positive Difference In This Season’s Ratings

Comprehensive Fall Project, 2004

Tired of waiting for UPN to promote Star Trek: Enterprise somewhere besides its own network during the hour the show airs? Want to take matters into your own hands and have the chance to make a real difference in audience numbers?

Join fans of Star Trek: Enterprise from all over the world in this sweeping new Fall Project! The Enterprise Project is now collecting donations from both individuals and groups to fund a two-pronged proposal. Funds will be earmarked to publish an ad in the Hollywood Reporter on the date of the series premiere, Friday, October 8, 2004. The full page ad, the group’s fifth in support of the show, will welcome back the cast and crew of Enterprise, congratulate them on their fourth season premiere and extend the fans’ best wishes for what promises to be an auspicious and successful new season of shows.

The second goal of the campaign will extend fundraising to cover an affordable program of national advertising. In cooperation with campusclients.com, Enterprise Project will design and print 1000 attractive Enterprise promotional posters and distribute them to ten (10) of the most populous university campuses that are well recognized for their science, technology and engineering programs. Posters will be concentrated in student unions, quads, dormitories and other areas of the campus where large numbers of students gather. In addition campusclients.com will provide a free click through link on their college newspaper site that will redirect viewers to a specially designed Enterprise promotional page on The Enterprise Project site. The fan groups plan to have this leg of the project in place for the beginning of November sweeps.

Approximate total cost for the two legs of this project will amount to $6000.00. Deadline for contributions to the Hollywood Reporter ad is September 30, 2004. The Campus Poster project deadline will extend for two more weeks to October 14. Any funds collected in excess of the goals will be donated to The AIDS Service Center in Los Angeles.

Individuals who contribute at a minimum level of $30.00 may have their names printed in the signature section of the Reporter ad. Groups that contribute at a minimum of $75.00 may have their group’s name printed in larger font in the first level of the signatures section. In addition, groups that contribute at a minimum level of $200.00 will have their URL listed in the ad and may also have a link to their group website appear on the special Star Trek: Enterprise promotional page at the Enterprise Project’s site.

Paypal contributions are encouraged and may be made to this account: mlrqe at yahoo.com. (At PayPal, type in the address as a regular e-mail with the @ sign, we're trying to avoid our volunteer getting spammed).

For information about sending contributions by mail, e-mail Marsha at the above address.

Time is of the essence Enterprise fans, and this season is critical for the continuation of the series. So please join us in meeting these goals, and make your contribution today. Individually, we can do almost nothing to affect the course of events in the entertainment biz. But together we CAN make a difference. We have done so in the past and WILL do so again.

Due to the fact that UPN 38 in Boston airs Red Sox games on Friday nights during baseball season, Enterprise will be airing on Saturdays at 6 PM. This begins on August 7th. As for after the season is over...I don't know what's going on. I heard this via the Enterprise Project Yahoo group. Grr...not knowing what happens after the season is over kinda wreaks havoc with my plan to have my parents tape it for me. Mrrph...if I could only have UPN at college, that would solve everything, lol

SFX think Enterprise doesn't sell [Jul. 16th, 2004|11:00 am]

sfx@futurenet.co.uk is the address to write to the Editor's of the mag and tell them how much you liked hearing about Enterprise on their special about their convention. there were also heaps of pictures of Dominic Keating. And next month they'll be publishing an interview with him in it.

The magazine has been slagging on the show for way too long, it's time to embarrass them, and show them they need to treat our favourite show with more respect.

Please write to the above address!

It will be more convincing if we all do it at different times, not all today! So put it in your diaries!

Homepage Updated [Jun. 2nd, 2004|08:43 pm]

[music |Enterprise "The Anomaly"]

The Enterprise Project Homepage (http://www.enterpriseproject.org) has been updated.

We have 4 ways to join/keep up on the Enterprise Project and its ongoing campaign in support of Enterprise.

First, we have the Yahoo Mailing List (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/entproject)

We also have a Message Board (http://enterpriseproject.org/phpbb/index.php) where you can post messages and share thoughts with other members.

For those of you on LiveJournal, we have a LiveJournal community (ent_project) where you can post as well. (http://www.livejournal.com/community/ent_project/)

Finally, in response to those who are concerned about the amount of e-mail they receive on the mailing list, we have created a newsletter you can subscribe to instead of the list. We anticipate this will go out probably twice a month with updates on the Enterprise Project and its campaigns. This is an opt-in newsletter - if you don't subscribe to it, you won't receive it. The signup box is on our homepage.

I would like to add that I'm proud to be a part of the dedicated fans of Enterprise who campaigned so hard and were rewarded for our efforts with the renewal of Enterprise. I look forward to keeping up the momentum over the summer and supporting Enterprise in Season Four!
