Fandom: Dear Yuletide Author 2025
Oct. 24th, 2025 12:20 pmLast Update: October 25, 2025
Favorite fannish time of year returns, and I am delighted with this unplanned roster of werewolf(ish) requests.
Do Not Wants and general likes, followed by fandom-specific details, below. If there's a discrepancy between the DNWs/general likes and the fandom-specific details, go with the fandom-specific.
One of the things I love best right now: women as werewolves and other monsters with all their feral rage and love and hunger and struggling with their humanity and their monstrosity.
I'm escritoireazul at AO3, too. Treat option is enabled.
General Likes
+ Werewolf packs, chosen families, strangers to friends to family through wild, strange adventures.
+ Teaming up to survive horror movie scenarios (summer camp killers, haunted houses, cursed objects, holiday horrors, monsters on spaceships, ghost ships) or deal with monster-of-the-week casefic-style scenarios.
+ Weird west/wild west (the outlaw feel of it, untamed and wild, wilderness survival, big spaces with nowhere to hide, big woods claustrophobic around you, monsters could be hidden anywhere and everywhere, so long as it avoids the magical Indian/savage Indian/white savior tropes that show up in a lot of westerns).
+ alternate universes, a non-exhaustive list: space adventures, portal fantasies, canon divergence, survival horror, Jaeger pilots, elite athletes, spaceship crew exploring unknown galaxies
+ tropes, a non-exhaustive list: huddling for warmth, forced proximity, friends to lovers, enemies to friends (to lovers), oh no there’s only one bed, fake dating, survival horror, abandoned ships, burial at sea, burial by fire, crashed on a deserted island, not-so-safe harbor, locked-room mysteries, came back wrong
+ kink (female top/dom only except for biting and bloodplay): biting, light bondage, impact play, rough body play, bloodplay for supernatural characters, fireplay, marking, sensory overload, orgasm denial/control, pegging
Do Not Wants
+ rape, non-con, and dub-con
+ embarrassment/humiliation
+ pregnancy
+ Heir Apparent DNW: applying current real world AI politics, criticisms, and discussions to in-universe technology

NoSleep Podcast episode
What I Love:
Fitz's monstrosity, in what she does, the game she plays, but also in her physical presence, the sheer strength and size of her even before it's clear she's a werewolf, Jodie's determination to survive, how much the horror looms even though it is a very short, quick story, Jodie's "win" being a pyrrhic victory, the lingering threat of the future, both what Jodie has become and where Fitz will be lurking. The brutality and descriptions. Interesting werewolf lore.
Prompts:
+ Fitz hunting other groups, other games she plays
+ Fitz and other werewolves or is she the only one, does she cause trouble for them because of the hunting they do
+ Fitz and the narrator once the narrator returns with all her questions as Fitz expects her to, the narrator being corrupted by the monster inside her, hating Fitz and what she is and what narrator has become, narrator being true to herself and trying to stop Fitz, the different ways they move through the world as monstrous women
Do Not Disturb - Halestorm (Music Video): Host, Female Guest, Male Guest
What I Love:
Rocky Horror Picture Show done all over again, the rollicking strangeness of the background characters, the way Host tempts the guests, the creepy over-the-top nature of the visuals, the potential for all sorts of stories, particularly with that werewolf surprise at the end.
Prompts:
+ So, werewolves just randomly end up at this odd hotel? What if it's not so random, why are they there
+ OT3 romance, werewolves taking her into an entirely new world, all of the sex
+ Host is just real goth and the hotel a mirage, werewolves are the only true supernatural things and now she has to make her way through the new life
+ History of the werewolves, the host, this hotel, this odd, interesting world
+ Hunting together
+ Werewolf guests convince Host to turn the hotel into a sanctuary for monsters
Get Some - Ghosted (Music Video): Samantha
What I Love:
Samantha's bright, awkward enthusiasm bleeding through every other piece of the story, the delightful werewolf transformation, violence and sexuality and the nature of the beast, the flash of the eyes and their pose at the end, the potential for a much bigger world.
Prompts:
+ Samantha's sheer enthusiasm turned toward other things
+ OT3 romance, two brand new werewolves with a slightly experienced werewolf making their way through puberty and becoming adults
+ Samantha + other werewolves -- does she run with a pack, does she get in trouble for what she's done, does she have no idea that other werewolves exist until she gets in trouble for what she's done
+ Hunting together
Heir Apparent - Vivian Vande Velde: Giannine Bellisario | Janine de St. Jehan
What I Love:
The game aspect, playing over and over to find the right way through, the in-game world building and story being told, Giannine's personality, her determination and fear and strength, the sheer entertainment of playing even when she's terrified of failing.
Prompts:
+ Wulfgar the werewolf and Janine the werewolf
+ Giannine starts seeing very familiar things in the actual world
+ Janine befriends the dragon and rides it to adventure or war or into the real world, whatever
+ Giannine finds that she missing the characters of the game and tries again and again to return to it
+ Giannine is haunted by Janine (and maybe the others too), either literally or metaphorically (ghost in the machine)
+ Next game Giannine must survive is set in X location (haunted spaceship, deep under the sea, her favorite book series)
Nasty at Bellua - Danny Lore: Kareem Nichols, Javier Ruiz
Nasty at Bellua short story
What I Love:
Space explorers have to deal with werewolves on a planet and on a spaceship. Delightful characters and fun worldbuilding. Space horror + creature feature at its finest.
Prompts:
+ Expand on the world building, other nasties in space, other ships dealing with them, Kareem, Javier, and Cash run into other nasties before this one, inhabitants of different planets have different ways to deal with nasties
+ Werewolves hunting their crewmates through the ship, people fighting back, the search for a cure in the robust science section, either other crewmates trying to do it or Kareem and Javier themselves fighting their way back to try
+ Unprepared rescue crew + space werewolves + trapped on a ship, hiding and running and fighting and all the danger and destruction and brutality werewolves bring
+ They are forced back to their home planet before the next change and things go very very very wrong
