Okay, can finally say with some sense of certainty that Up and Over Farm will be housing this horse as he semi-retires to Stud

This is the mare on my userpics sire! Everyone keep your fingers crossed that all goes well and we do get to keep him here. Will keep all updated on things as they progress, we probably won't get him till mid to late March since he's in Florida right now and body clipped and his owner (wonderful, sweet, amazing woman) doesn't want him to get thrown into this colder weather when its at it's worst. This will also give me time to ride with his trainer/rider (Ralph Hill) and learn how to handle and ride Mr. Winston so I know all his buttons and can keep his cues consistent. Still holding my breath until he actually arrives but I think its now a done deal! Like I said everyone keep your fingers crossed!

Hey there everyone, I just joined the community :] My name's Jenna, I'm 19 and I live in Northern California. I've been riding for longer than I can remember and am studying veterinary science to become a large animal practitioner specializing in horses. I started college a year ago, and since then have been living a 2-hour drive away from my mare, who lives back in my hometown. Fortunately I think I'll be able to move her down here soon. She's a 12-year-old appy/percheron cross and though it might not sound like it, she's very athletic :]. She's the love of my life! Since I bought her (she belonged to my boss beforehand), we've worked on a variety of disciplines, mostly dressage in the recent years with a great instructor. My ultimate goal is to do some recognized eventing if I can find enough time :].

Anywho, here's some pictures of my baby!Collapse )
13th-Sep-2006 09:57 pm - i love eventing
hi everyone!

im new on livejouranl and i just wanted to meet some cool people who love horses as much as i do! haha that sounds pretty weird to say. anyways i have 3 horses (but one of them has been off of work for 7 months). my mom aslo has a horse. my other horse is a quarter horse who i just started eventing! he is really fun to ride and really talented at eventing, but sometimes he's really bad and it makes me furious. he's doing novice, and i want to move up, but he wont be able to. he's sort of for sale...lol if anyones looking? well i hope i can meet some cool people on here and lemme know if you want to be friends or something..
27th-Apr-2006 08:01 pm - saddle for sale
banananana
hey guys i've got a pretty nice saddle for sale.

17" PJ original
bought NEW in july for $3400

in excellent condition

i'm asking $2700

in Northern VA if anyone would like to try it.

it's fairly wide for a regular tree, best suited to a warmblood, not a narrow thoroughbred.

i'm selling because i outgrew it and because it doesnt fit the new pony.

i havent taken any good pictures yet, but if you leave a comment here, i'll run out and take some :)

thanks!
