Blane Rekner is a fellow hunter at IAOS and your rival. Blane despises you with a passion and will take every opportunity to make you look bad, often in the form of a snide remark. Cold and startlingly rude, Blane isn’t the most appealing person, but their loyalty and dedication make up for it.
Will you turn your tension into something more than hatred?
THE PARTNER.
Nikolas/Noele/Nolan Alves is Blane’s partner at IAOS. though often overlooked, with soft smiles and constant genuine kindness, N is someone you can count on when having a bad day. But don’t let that fool you, for N also has a strong will and disregard for being treated badly that will make you rethink double-crossing them.
Will you find something real in a sea of mistrust?
THE WARLOCK.
Kian/Kaia/Kai de Vries is a warlock you see out for their expertise. as an immortal, K has learned to keep their cards close to their chest and finds it difficult to trust. Their aloofness and blunt sense of humour may make them difficult to get along with at first, but once warmed up to you, K is a powerful ally that proves to have a great amount of depth.
Will you fall for someone you know you will have to one day leave behind?
THE BOUNTY.
Rylan Villanueva is a bounty you’ve previously failed to capture. A flirt through and through, Rylan’s signature moves are sharp smirks and quick winks, the signs of someone who enjoys the sight of someone flustered. Their sarcasm and charm often take up the forefront of their personality, but though seemingly shallow with their wandering eyes, Rylan’s bed remains empty, preferring to spend nights alone.
Will you find love with the very person you’ve been trained to hunt?

This is my 3rd replay and I'd just like to inform you that on Chapter 3.10 it won't let me get past the "The Lunch Room". The next option is on top and nothing happens when I tap on it. I've tried restarting the game too. It's the first time it has happened. 🥹

One thing though. In Blane's route, on the page where you can close the gap or tell her no, one of the sentences is "His/Her/Theirs doesn't deny it," when it should be "He/She/They doesn't deny it."

I haven't finished playing everyone's routes yet, but I wanted to let you know that I just woke up from a dream where I was having lunch with K and Rylan (specifically Kian and they/them Rylan). I think it is because I keep replaying the game over and over... Though I'm not complaining at all!! I am craving Thai food now though lol.
Anywho!!! A+ update, I cried because of K AND Blane a lot (my Ace4Ace heart loves them both so dearly) and I wanted to squeeze A like a squeaky toy. Do you think they would squeak like one?? I bet they would...

If it's because my comment is edited, I edited it due to it having like 5 million typos (since I typed it out immediately after waking up from my dream.) If it's for some other reason, I am very confused. Is this the right game? This is When Twilight Strikes, right?? Did I misspell the characters names, because I swear I triple checked to be sure that I did not? Are people mad because I personally find N and Rylan to be the best RO's? I'm so sorry I just don't know if the problem is with my comment or not.
I know this is stupid, but I can't help feeling anxious that I did something bad to upset people! If I did then I will donate money to this game to make up for my error.
I also don't know why you got downvoted. Sometimes people on the internet are just haters. All I can do is offer solidarity, and suggest that until people actually communicate with you, there's not much use guessing what they're thinking.
Yes, I suppose you are right. I am just very airheaded and I know I sometimes word things strangely, so I was worried that my initial comment was confusing others! I do not want to accidentally cause harm or upset people.

You know what? At this point just kill me, the K angst is HEAVY this chapter. I've tried to change my decisions up (argue and deflect but i am about to read it all over again) and the change in the dialogue? Amazing AND hurtful. I genuinely can't figure out what's going thru K's head, when it was said a talk about immortality i thought it would be something WAY different to be honest, i was not expecting THAT. The "Don't ever try to touch me again," Hurts so much my goddd. I have to say that from the 3 routes i tried (Rylan, Blane and now K) this has been my favorite, the emotions hit hard. i never have any idea how to end my comments...

Well. I've only play Ryan's route for now and let me say some stuff. We got quite a lot of angst and finally got them (Rylan) to open up which i absolutely love and then we got a kiss

As far as I've explored there's six (counting the "kiss them" / "let them kiss you" as separate variants). One pair is when you cup their cheek, another is if you call their name then grab their wrist, and another is if you call their name then make an excuse. My personal favorites are the cup their cheek options and make an excuse / let them kiss you, but they're all sooo good!!
Thank youuu! I personally love both of the variants but my favorite is the choice where you don't kiss since (for me) it has a bigger emotional impact even without the kiss there ❤️🥹 but i just love they fall into mc's arms, at least their angst ends happily not like K's...
Oh I totally agree, it's so sweet just letting Blane know they're cared for without pushing the physicality of it too quickly. At the same time, it's so cute seeing them fully embrace it, especially when they initiate the kiss--it's so rare for them to even accept physical contact, much less do something so impulsive. Something about pouring their emotions into the kiss where words fail them is what gets me.
K soldiers have nothing but my utmost respect, I could never. At least, not until their route is a bit further along, being constantly left on angst cliffhangers would kill me :( o7 to you guys frfr

I belive it's back in chapter one when it asks you what your perspective on supernaturals is just before you meet Rylan for the first time. The best option (the one that gives you the most positive relationship with supernatural beings) is "... agree with the latter. I have a lot of supernatural friends and none of them are evil."

The easiest way is to choose "… agree with the latter. I have a lot of supernatural friends and none of them are evil" in Ch.1.
After that, you should have enough points automatically but for good measure, offer to go first in Ch.2 when Quinn begins her healing process and choose "It'll be fun to get to know them" in Ch.5 since it gives a lot of points.

Hey! By any chance, At the 'crimson rouge's side exit.' did you go right and pick up the pin? If you did, I think that was the issue, you have to go left and eavesdrop the convo! It should work now. If thats not the issue, let me know and I'll keep searching!
I had to replay because of requirement even though I chose every option and chance to step time with that one LI but it show up like I never chose those options And when I restart the game there is an bug now at chapter03.09 first you can't choose to go training anymore and can't go to Blane and problem too if I go to lap or to the cases the screen turns black and the game doesn't continue
Hello! I'm not sure what the issue is since I did not touch this chapter when Ch.13 was released. You may have to clear your cache, cookies and any trace of the game before trying again. I assume you chose training and Blane on another playthrough, and the game is still remembering those choices.

No problem! For your purposes, I also added a "Reset Game" button on the menu page, so if you're going to replay, please do so with that button so that none of your choices are remembered!
EDIT: This button does not work so I've since deleted it.
Being excited to play the new chapter just to find out you don't have a SINGLE complete met requirement in ANYBODY'S route 🥲💔 SO HEARTBREAKING. Looks like I'll have to replay the whole thing, but oh well, not upset about that!

Ugh all the choices I made and still can't romance the one of my choice cause I choose friendly interactions with others during other scenes. Even while flirting every chance I could.
Refreshed and that fixed but now it says I still believe R committed the murder, but that wasn't the case before the refresh. Ugh
Refreshed again and it changed the stats all around to not met. Guess it's guessing if I did or not. Instead of going off the save. Looks like a forced restart. On Android.

hey! sorry if this idea has been brought up before or if you've already discarded the idea, but i'd been considering the chapter selector problems and came up with something - though i've no idea how plausible it is.
could you perhaps scan and save the statistics at the start of every chapter separately, then if someone wanted to replay a chapter, load in that chapter's statistics and go from there? if you had separate slots designated for each chapter, you could skip back to them if someone loaded up the chapter select without losing them.
again, not sure how plausible it is considering i haven't used twine nearly enough to say how it'd work, though i do plan to in the future. regardless, i hope this finds you well ^^

Hey! I love this game so much!! I was just wondering if it would be possible to place a chapter selector like the one that used to be at the start of chapter 13? I was just trying to go back and reread but it's very time-consuming/doesn't work. If you're too busy or it doesn't work then no worries!
In truth, the chapter selector messes up the code really badly, since you're overwriting your remembered choices. There will be one at the end of Ch.14, as requested, but it's honestly not super ideal for the game statistics.

i love, love this game so much like u dont even understand,, but i need to know if anyone else is having a glitch with the pronouns? like, when i choose any pronouns, "his", "their", "hers" won't show up, sometimes even just "him", "her", and "them" wont appear :(
That's super strange. Is it your personal pronouns you're talking about or the ROs'? Also, which platform are you playing on?

I looked into my code and unfortunately, I can't find any issue. I'm assuming it's something on your end then. I would recommend deleting the game from your Itch.io folder on your drive and redownloading it. Maybe with the new update (Chapter 13) it will be resolved too. Sorry!

I just have one impression that keeps bothering me. The protagonist and his partner are presented as the best agents of an elite unit of bounty hunters. However, their dialogues and actions mainly reveal incompetence, uncertainty, lack of knowledge, and a lack of the manner of operation characteristic of a trained representative of the services. I find it difficult to identify with characters who are so inconsistent.
Hi! This is a completely valid complaint and I will definitely take that into consideration. I've had similar doubts of my own as the game has gotten further along, so it's something we share consensus on. When I finish Book 1, this is something I plan to rectify as I go back and edit older passages.

Blane: You are glass, cold and brittle, so I never pushed too hard. Cause you break from so little and I cut myself on every shard. I wish that you were clearer and could see my point of view.

Love the game! I'm sure you probably know about this, but I've noticed a bug. On the page after you make a choice that gains relationship with a companion, each time you close then open the relationship menu the bonus gets applied again (meaning you can increase approval all the way to 100% based off of one choice)
I'm someone who kinda compulsively checks my relationship menu meaning I unfairly gain approval when I shouldn't; is there a way to stop this from happening?
(Oh, and I'm excited to see where the story goes next! Looking forwards to A's route :p)
Hi! I'm well aware of this issue but unfortunately, I haven't yet figured out how to solve it. My coding knowledge isn't that advanced. It's definitely something I will look into at some point.
For now, I hope I can reassure you by saying that the romance points is only one aspect of unlocking a romance route, so it won't severely affect your chances. A huge part of it will also be choosing solo routes with your RO of choice.
