Here is a vintage Barbie binder. Isn't it cool? I've never seen one before so when I saw this for sale I had to have it.

And now Barbie's first car in mint condition with the original box!

And last is Tutti Barbie's tiny sister, who some say is also Barbie's sister Stacy, because both have same the twin brother Todd. Anyway as you can see she's NRFB!

Yes I do have Barbie dolls and I will post pictures of them someday.

Barbie celebrates 50 fabulous years of unapologetic glam in 2009. To celebrate her 50 year anniversary Assouline just released a $500, limited-edition 128-page tome, chronicling the iconic doll’s glamorous history, called Barbie, by Yona Zeldis McDonough. The Barbie Fashion Book is a larger than life Barbie format with actually photos tacked onto the pages so you can remove them and frame them if you wish. This gorgeous coffee table book is filled with luscious images of the 11.5-inch phenomenon dressed by everyone from Marvel Comics to MAC Cosmetics, Miuccia to McQueen, and Coco to Karl, all of which make a girl of any age drool, along with insightful text by Yona McDonough and quotes from various fashion luminaries.

Commuter Set is a vastly popular outfit because the ensemble has a very "CHANEL" suit
feeling about it. It came with two shirts, one in white satin and the other in blue-checked nylon.

This outfit was only producing between 1959-1960, making it rare compared to other outfits
that were around longer. Because of it's rarity, Mattel decided to make a reproduction of it
in 1998 on the special "Collector's Request" line. The doll that comes with the outfit has
very tightly curled bangs that the original dolls had (unlike the 1993 35th Anniversary
Barbie doll) thus making this reproduction even more alluring. It sells in and around $40 on
eBay.

The accessories of this beautiful ensemble are:
- Navy Cardigan
- Matching Sheath Skirt
- White Silk Shirt
- Blue Checked Nylon Shirt
- Red/Rose-colored Silk Flower Hat
- Cardboard Hatbox
- Double Strand "Crystal" Necklace
- Matching Snake Bracelet
- Navy Open-Toe Shoes
- White Short Tricot Gloves
What is your opinion of this outfit?
Are you one of the lucky people that own a reproduction, or part of the original?
