Dear Heavenly Father,
You are the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. I release this pregnancy to you. You are the amazing creater that gave this pregnancy to my husband and I and if it is your will, you will take it away. I've been trying for a week to do this on my own, to worry with every pang that I'm losing it, to worry with every new, or disappearing symptom that I'm losing it, to worry that I'm going to lose it every second of every day....and its just not working. I need to give this pregnancy to you and to trust you. I need to trust that your will be done, and if it is your will that in 9 months I will have a healthy baby in my arms, but if it is not your will, that you will take this baby into YOUR arms, and will be with David and I through all of this. I am not strong enough to bear this worrying on my own, and I'm not strong enough to bear losing this child on my own, but in you...I can do anything! This pregnancy was such a blessing through all the troubles we were having, and I know that I need to enjoy each minute of it. All the symptoms and the joy of telling everyone. I never thought that I would be asking for morning sickness! I know that your will will be done in this matter, and no amount of worrying will help it...or add a single minute to this childs life. Thank you Lord for blessing us with this child, and thank you for always being there. Forgive me for my disobedience and not giving this to you first. I love you Lord and thank you for everything you have given us.

Hi I joined this community not so much for myself...but well yea in a way I did. My husband and I are devout Christians and while we are not trying to conceive just yet, we do hope to start a family soon. My cousin though is trying to conceive and she has been trying since January...with no luck. She has lost hope, and feels lost. I have been trying to help her but I'm not entirely sure what to tell her. |

Does anyone here have PCOD? If so, how long were you TTC? Any natural remedies that help? My midwife is thinking I may have it (my previous doctor thought I did) and it scares me. My sister-in-law had it and they TTC for 3 years before having in-vitro. My husband are starting to try now and I (I'm sure like all women) want to have a baby soon, and am super worried that we won't be able to. My periods (I have been off of BC for 6 months, and will never go back on) have been kinda weird. The first was 2 weeks off, the second 4 days off, the third was a week off, the fourth is a week and 1 day off etc. Any suggestions or help? I've been taking Vitex but kind of sporadically. After my period I hope to take it more regularly...if I ever get my period. TIA!

I just joined this community today hopefully to help expand my list of LJ friends and have a place to share and read stories. My husband and I are expecting our first little one in nineteen short days and I have set plans of being a stay at home mom once our little bundle of joy arrives.

Zoe has cerebral palsy.
We also have a definite diagnosis of cortical visual impairment.
They apparently go hand in hand.
We do not know how serious the CP or CVI are yet, but we know she has them.
Now she has to undergo an EEG, MRI, and ultrasound.
Oh, and we now also have a physical therapist added to the -ist list. |
