Welcome to the FIBER WORKSHOP, a community for those that work with fibers and cloth in innovative ways. Do you sew? Knit? Crochet? Make lace? Do you work with fabric, make clothes, dye or batik, spin yarn, embroider or defy convention with fabrics? Then this could be the place for you.
Swap tips - post your current project or ideas - get advice - share your knowledge - post your auctions.
While anyone is welcome to join, a few simple rules are in order:
1. Please try to keep your posts on-topic. See the list of interests below as a guideline for discussion.
2. Auction postings (eBay and others) are welcome, especially if they pertain to equipment, fibers, yarns, related books, patterns, clothing you've made or modified yourself, art and sculpture, or anything else that has to do with fiber art and sewing. Please try not to list things that are not appropriate.
3. We welcome people who are new to sewing and fiber craft of all kinds. If you have a question, ask away. You're bound to learn something!
4. Feel free to post your ideas and current projects. However, if you are worried about theft of your ideas, plelase keep them off of the boards.
5. Be friendly - hostile posts are not tolerated. Thanks!
