I'd like to say that this is kinda controversial In the subject.
Firstly, If you are overloaded with commissions and need money do NOT offer art/partial fursuits for monies straight up...YOU JUST WANT NEW GADJETS.
I'm sick of reading the whining post's about how you have finally realized you cannot do all the commission's you took and because you needed at least the deposit money for some new shiny object.
You have recently canceled a ton of fursuits, Then whine because you don't have enough money to pay the buyers back.
Suck it up, I'm sorry you cannot buy the latest thing you want from ebay because you haven't finished LONG OVERDUE fursuits that are half paid.
Pay them back, Your bitchfits when they ask for their money back is YOUR fault, you had a deadline.
Sadly I have had personal experience and know that even though I gave you 6 months to make a ears and tail set I got it after the date I wanted, you obviously rushed it because the tail fell off the first night I wore it.

It seems everybody has forgotten about Furry Rant's? ..be ashamed people.
A quick rant, not about anybody directly of course:
If you take on shitloads of commissions and bloody fur-suit promises to paying customers FUCKING FINISH THEM.
I get so sick of seeing the same old cycle, whine whine I'm short on money for my expensive new trinket (blanketed under whining for money for food because maker is starving..waaaaah) icon commissions take slots waaaahhhmbulence is coming.
*gullible furries take slots*
Six months later, after numerous 'personal LJ icons' and 'personal art' from the artist most icon takers and art commission takers are ranting privately in journals, too paranoid to even post properly for fear of the flood of fanbrats whining in their face about the angelic artist...actual artists replys to ranty OP with reply of a bland "Oh I hope it isn't me"...OP reply that is kinda about her.
So then we get to fur suits and craft promises, every now and again the artist says somebody dropped out of their partial suit list...WOW I WONDER WHY, according to people who have commissioned this person for partials get endless promises..then no contact, then promises of pictures which never come, the they finally get a little angry and ask about their suit (which was promised to arrive and be finished by X furry con)
and the artist has a fucking waaaaaaah fit over people pushing her to finish them. IF YOU NEVER INTENDED TO DO THE WORK, AND JUST WANTED THE MONEY FUCKING SAY SO.
Then of course, they bring up the hole "Omg waahhh person who gave me money is bugging me about the suit, I'm gonna threaten them with canceling their suit and selling it on furbid if they don't shut up, or giving the a refund of barley half the money they paid.
so anyway, we have somebody promising suits, while at the time goes and make suits for herself..posts pics and such...never see some updates on suits that have paying commissioners waiting for them.
remember furry rants dudes.

I know it's been established that wearing fursuits in public is rude, but I would like to establish that my hatred goes a step further. Fursuits are generally abominations, and any fursuiter that comes near me looking for huggles runs the risk of being doused with lighter fluid and set aflame; fire is the only true way to get out semen stains and con funk.
It's true this opinion may be rather unpopular in this fandom, so I will elaborate why I maintain it.
Sexual fetishes belong in the bedroom! For those of you who have not heard of doraphilia/fur fetishism or plushophilia, have a gander at the Sexual Paraphilia section of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders sometime.
- Fur fetishism is the name popularly used to describe a fetishistic attraction to people wearing fur, or in certain cases, to the garments themselves.
- Doraphilia is the paraphilia involving sexual attraction to fur.
- A plushophile is a person who has a paraphilia for large soft furry toys, or plushies.
You have a fetish? Okay, I have plenty. I am a huge fucking pervert, but I keep them to myself or to specially-designated events -- I don't make it the business of people who might not want to see it. Now some might argue that anthropomorphic art conventions are the proper places to show off your sex toys, but I disagree. FC/AC/CF/MFM/FWA/EF/etc. are social events where anthropomorphic art is discussed, created, and sold. When your fetish is paraded as part of the mainstream, the rest of the fandom looks more ridiculous. Thanks, because you know, the bestialists do the exact same thing.
My God, the smell! It is fabric and therefore needs washing. If color will bleed or wash out as a result, then you need to use a more potent coloring solution. Febreeze is no substitute, and body fluid and funk build up and eventually make your presence in-suit absolutely intolerable. If this sounds like you and you are near me in-suit, expect me to light a match.
Popularity contest? I couldn't believe it when I heard that there are "cliques" of fans that gravitate towards fursuits. What is this, high school? That's about as logical as someone thinking I'm HOTT ON THE INTERNET because one of my autofellatio furry pictures is particularly OMG YIFFY. Reminder: anthropomorphic pictures obscure the bad and the ugly in the same way fursuits do.
Just say no! No means no. As  savannaqueen aptly mentioned, not everyone wants to catch the fursuit AIDS from your sweaty ass. Touching complete strangers without their consent is a good way to get a red-ass beatdown where I come from. Save the HUGGLES for people you actually know and respect others, even if it means your "character" is lessened.
Sex? It genuinely frightens me to think of people having sex in these suits. Fantasies are one thing, I'll give them that, but at some point, the suit has to come off -- if you aren't sexy on your own, putting on a wad of fake fur won't help.
Creepy! WHAT THE SHIT THE EYES. Okay seriously, I can count on one hand the number of eyes I've seen that look halfway good. Something-speed Cheetah, Radjin, and Cabby. I've seen the FC and Califur fursuit events; NO. Sloppily-hidden strategically-placed holes... NO. 15-16" psychic dragoncock attachments... NO.
Ugly! A good number of fursuits look like bad, stuffed pajamas. Aside from the creepiness I just mentioned, most of them epitomize the lack of artistic ability of their creator. I've seen a few cool ones like the leather wolf and dragon ones, but these strike me more as works of art and not bad Halloween costumes.
Ah, but! It's true I give fursuits a lot of crap, but I'd like to state that I don't generally hold much against the folks wearing them unless they're douchebags. I know at least 4 people offhand who wear them who are decent, attractive, A+ people. They keep their fursuits to themselves and by respecting me, I respect them. This also doesn't apply to people who exclusively wear costumes to entertain (which is an art form); for them, it's probably not an escapist/sexual (or both) fetish or ego trip.

This will be my first rant here. But holy shit it's a long time coming..:
Im SO SICK of furry winging...hell it's even not the general winging.
It’s this kind of thing where they howl:
"OHNOES IM BROKE AND I HAVE NOT GOT ENOUGH MONEY TO FEED MYSELF OR PAY MY RENT!!! COMMISH ME PLZ!!11"
I mean most of them are cool, But some of the do not have jobs, Even though they whine about jobs contantly...saying they must have one
The worst part is two week's later:
"OMG I JUST BROUGHT MYSELF AN IPOD/PRINTER/ELECTRICAL DOO -DAD
IT'S SO COOL WHEEE"
Im sorry but I have had a hard life were I've had to scringe for money and ate fucking green tea leaves because I was so fucking starved...when you whine about that you are starving due to lack of money and yet a few weeks later you buy -insert expensive but not needed item here- and then FUCKING WHINE about being hungry that makes me think:
"HOLY SHIT that Ipod was worth the same amount as 3-4 weeks of shopping money. YOU STUPID FUCKER"
Im sick of it. I’ve seen worse. Where furry whine that they have not got enough money. even though HOLY SHIT they have not even bothered to get a job, even though they are supposedly desperate for money....mind you when somebody mentions stuff like working as a cleaner or taking shift's at McDonalds they fucking turn their noses up like some spoilt brat:
"OH NOE.I WANT WORK IN A VET surgery with aaaanimals, Not McDonalds!'
Fucking deal. It’s rare to find work like that, while you whine about money you could be earning wage. But NOOOooo...you're to GOOD to be working there arent you?!?.
Lastly it the fucking fandom sucking up you ass shit, for example sombody is giving away a free tablet because they do not use it anymore, you reply. You have never used a tablet before but as an artist you are interested in expanding your skills. You have not brought one yourself because you are struggling to buy yourself new shoes.
Fair enough, but then popular artist replies to post to give away said tablet, basically the reply is:
"Oh I already have two...but I guess I could use another...I can't promise I will ever use it. Or that I might not put it on eBay in a few months...but i'll make you art if you give it too me"
One guesses who got it. And no, it was not me. |

Here's another thing that bothers me in the whole "furry fandom"..it's their lack of a spine.
The last two furries who complained about my post deleted their own comments, why bother commenting at all if those who are commenting are just going to delete them, especially with a question asked on why it would bother me so much (in relation to the last entry I wrote)?
It's this comment that was posted here but was deleted by the person making the comment in the first place: "Yiffing" isn't fursuit sex. It's IRC, MUCK, AIM, or whatever-based
TinySex. I'm a fur; I should know.
If it bothers you so much, then why do you look at it? Don't give me that
"it's so horrible, I can't look away" shit, either."
Seriously, this could apply to any of my posts. To those who don't like my posts, why bother taking the time to read them much less commenting to them in the first place only to delete their own comment?
Afraid of getting flamed for it? Why bother reading the community that's meant for people (furs and nonfurs) alike to rant about the furry fandom? If you don't believe me, then read the userinfo.
By the way, I am just referring to those who act this way..not anyone else who has been nice to me thus far. :)
To answer the person's question, I look at stuff (even though I only looked at it once and linked it here) and posted it here because omg it annoyed me, which this community is all about, posting stuff that people find annoying in the furry fandom.
Oh yeah, I also got another comment from someone on here who didn't like my posts but they deleted their comment right before I could reply to it. If you find me stupid (which might be why you are deleting my comments other than the reason I listed above), than why get offended in the first place?

They make sites like these...nasty fursuit sex (or "yiffing" as they call it) as well as other crap in it.
Btw any sort of comment left on here that's pretty much bashing this post will prove on how sensitive you are to me mentioning it as well as proving to me that you participate in such acts.
So if you don't want to come off as a dumbass, then I'd recommend not bashing this as I am just using this community as a prime example of what it should be used for and that's rantings about the furry fandom.
Oh yeah..and one of them happens to be a "furry porn star"..that's just sad.
"Dur..the furry fandom isn't about sex! Dur!" But like I said..sites like these just make me think otherwise, this site was provided to me by a friend. |
