FurSpirit

For many, furry isn't merely a hobby, it's a very personal reflection of our inner spirituality. furspirit is a place where people who are 'furry inside' can gather to share thoughts and experiences. Basically anything having to do with furry spirituality is welcomed. Suggested topics include furry personas and avatars, spirit guides, therianthropy, totems, vision quests, zoomorphism and zootheism to name just a few.

This community is named after the original 'furspirit' mailing list - the very first furry spirituality listserv - which was created by rafflin in 1995. Although relatively short-lived, the furspirit mailing list was successful in bringing together many for whom furry had a deeper personal significance. The tradition was carried on when the Usenet group alt.lifestyle.furry was created in August 1996, with furry spirituality as one of its core topics of discussion.

To keep out anti-furry goons and trolls, membership in this community will be screened. Comm members must be tolerant and respectful of the opinions and beliefs of others at all times; flames and expressions of bigotry are not permitted. Other than that, members have free rein to discuss any topic related to furry spirituality, whatever its form of expression.
