The Bay Area Rainbow Symphony (BARS) calls to string, wind, brass, and percussion players to join us for our summer set under the baton of Daniel Canosa. The summer twilight harmoniously complements our set of heartfelt, serene, profound, and expressive music, including: · Beethoven's Lenonora Overture No. 3, Op. 72b · Mendelssohn's "Nocturne" from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Op. 61 · Schubert's Symphony No. 8 "Unfinished" · Mendelssohn's The Hebrides (Fingal's Cave), Op. 26, and · Brahms's Hungarian Dance No. 5. The summer's rehearsals and socials begin Wednesday, July 9th in preparation for our performance on Saturday, September 13th. Make this a summer your feel pride.
