This is a promotion of the v3.6.0-rc.3 release to GA.

NOTE: This release is the first unified release of the NVIDIA Container Toolkit that consists of the following packages:

The packages for this release are published to the libnvidia-container package repositories.

  • Convert to architecture-independent packages (all for .deb and noarch for .rpm packages)

  • [BUILD] Allow TOOLKIT_VERSION and TOOLKIT_TAG to be specified as make variables

  • Add AARCH64 package for Amazon Linux 2
  • Convert to meta package that depends on nvidia-container-toolkit > 1.5.1. The nvidia-container-runtime executable was moved to the nvidia-container-toolkit package
  • Remove libseccomp2 dependency as this was moved into nvidia-container-toolkit package
  • [BUILD] Allow TAG to be specified instead of revision
