Description

Adds an optional time of day to task due dates, a one-time reminder notification at a chosen moment, and time and "remind me" parsing in inbox text. Date-only due dates keep their current end-of-day behavior. The due date uses the same picker as defer until.

Type of Change

  • Bug fix (fixes an issue)
  • New feature (adds functionality)
  • Breaking change (breaks existing functionality)
  • Documentation/Translation update

Testing

How did you test this?

Backend unit and integration suites for tasks, timezone, MCP, CalDAV, and inbox NLP pass. Frontend task, inbox, and new due-date helper suites pass. Lint has no errors. Full npm run pre-push not run yet.

  • npm run pre-push passes

Checklist

  • Self-reviewed my own code, follows project style guidelines
  • Tests, docs, migrations, and translations updated (if applicable)

Additional Notes

Not yet included: CalDAV DUE as a datetime, and carrying the time into recurring instances.

Tasks can carry a time of day with their due date (due_time, HH:mm in the
user's timezone). A new reminder_at value sends a one-time notification from
a per-minute job. Changing the due date alone clears the time.

Refs discussion #829
Inbox text such as "tomorrow at 5pm" now sets the due time on the item and
the chip shows it. "remind me ..." also sets reminder_at. The title keeps
every word. The "Will be created as a task" suggestion widget is removed.
