Lock dependencies with Python 3.15 wheels - #4766
Conversation
Importing the package on Python 3.15 raised ValueError: the default target is built from the running interpreter and PythonVersion ended at 3.14. Fixes #4589 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Breaking Change AnalysisResult: No breaking changes detected Reasoning: This PR adds Python 3.15 support. It adds the Python 3.15 classifier to pyproject.toml and bumps the pre-commit pyproject-fmt max-supported-python to 3.15. The black dependency, both required and in the black extra, is now split by Python version: versions below 3.15 keep the existing 19.10b0 minimum, and Python 3.15 and later requires black 26.5 or newer. The pydantic requirement is also split: Python 3.14 keeps the 2.12 minimum, Python 3.15 and later requires pydantic 2.14 or newer, and versions below 3.14 are unchanged. The black22 and black24 dev dependency groups are limited to Python below 3.15. The other changes are documentation tables, the updated expected package-metadata test fixture, a test that now joins multiple required specifiers, and uv.lock churn (new markers, an added black 26.10.1 entry, and version bumps for cffi, grpcio, markupsafe, msgspec, protobuf, rpds-py, time-machine and watchfiles). Requirements for every Python version below 3.15 are unchanged. The tighter minimums apply only to the newly supported Python 3.15, so existing users are not affected. Nothing changes generated code output, templates, CLI options, the Python API, defaults, error handling, or the set of supported Python versions.
