Current time on a timeline is not visible at times due to its mouse over (fade/fade-out/hiding) effect

Steps to reproduce

It happens very often to me that on a LC 3.66.1 (and several previous versions) running on Debian 13 Linux, current time displayed on the timeline is not visible, as seen on the video:

often when you just quickly run with mouse over it, it is nearly hidden and when there are segments or other time line elements behind it, it is not readable.

Solution: disable the mouse over/fade/fade-out/hiding effect, i doubt there is more important element on the timeline than a current time. Possibly ensure other method of disappearing, maybe if possible, let it automatically reappear with some delay like 2 seconds or so.

Hi.
This is intentional. I added the fade effect because peoplenwere complaining that they cannot see the what is underneath the time. Eg. you can move your mouse over the time to reveal what’s underneath. The fade effect only happens when you use the mouse, if you use your keys to move the cursor it will not fade.
If you want to avoid the fade effect while scrubbing the timeline, simply move the mouse up slightly above the time

From how i understand your post, above provided video proves you wrong - when the time is erroneously faded while the mouse cursor is long time away from the time area, it does not "avoid the fade effect", that effect is still in place as the video shows.

ahh i see, so the problem is that it gets "stuck" in the hidden state, even after moving the mouse off it. Will solve it with a timeouf of 1000ms after moving the mouse over it
