for the canonical overview tab instead of only checking that the hash lacks
“tab=”.
- Around line 21-22: Add a dedicated /skills redirect test in the existing
deeplink specs that supplies a URL fragment and asserts the redirected
destination preserves that hash, alongside the existing query-parameter
coverage. Use the current ForwardSearch redirect test structure and keep the
assertion focused on fragment forwarding.

…der sources, and the /skills deep link Six merged PRs were audited as MISSING or PARTIAL on e2e coverage. This closes what could be closed honestly and records the rest. Revert-checked (each fails with the fix reverted, naming its own assertion): - tinyhumansai#5767 per-model-call ceiling — `tests/agent_harness_e2e.rs`. A new global stall knob on the scripted upstream holds every reply, so a model call is still in flight when the ceiling elapses. With a 2s per-call ceiling under a 600s turn deadline the turn is stopped in 2.57s; with `policy.limits.max_model_call_ms` unwired the 25s stall completes and the turn SUCCEEDS at 25.77s. Elapsed time is the assertion because it is the only externally visible signal that separates the two ceilings — see below. - tinyhumansai#5838 relative folder sources — `tests/memory_sources_e2e.rs`, two tests. A folder source configured with a RELATIVE path must resolve against the workspace, not the process CWD (openhuman#5830), and a missing one must say where the reader looked. The pre-existing folder test passes an ABSOLUTE path, the branch the fix deliberately left alone, so it could never catch this. Reverted, both fail with `folder does not exist: relative-notes`. - tinyhumansai#5924 /skills?tab= forwarding — `connections-tab-deeplinks.spec.ts`. This spec already covered the path but asserted the BUG: it was written to pin the pre-fix defect and flipped nowhere when tinyhumansai#5924 landed, so on main it asserts the opposite of shipped behaviour and would red the next release promotion. Flipped to assert forwarding, renamed off `BUG:`, header corrected, and two cases added (`?tab=mcp`; no query still lands on the overview). Written but NOT revert-checked — do not record as coverage: - tinyhumansai#5943 embeddings custom-endpoint Test button, tinyhumansai#5876 core-RPC 401 recovery. Both are new Playwright specs. The lane needs a core-bin build plus a browser and the machine is at its memory limit, so they could not be verified. They are isolated new files; drop them if you would rather not carry unverified tests. No lane runs Playwright on PRs to main, so they cannot affect CI here. Not covered, with reasons in the findings file: - tinyhumansai#5851 provider construction. `start_channels` is the only host path to `tinychannels::build_channels`, and with a populated config it enters live provider listen loops and never returns; `openhuman.channels_list` builds `ChannelManager::new(ChannelsConfig::default(), ())` so it cannot witness the change. Covering it needs a build-without-starting seam that does not exist. Two bugs found while writing these, recorded and NOT pinned by any test: - The per-call/turn distinction tinyhumansai#5767 built is discarded at the event boundary. A wedged model call emits `turn_timeout` with "This turn ran past its time budget ... a tool call or a delegated sub-agent stalled" when the turn had 598 of 600 seconds left and no tool ran. The harness preserves the distinction (`per-model-call ceiling` vs `remaining wall-clock budget`) precisely so triage can use it; the host collapses both. - The tinyhumansai#5924 spec described above. No product code changed. Full detail in bugs/W5-test-findings.md.
Pure formatting — wraps the call. No assertion or behaviour changed, so the recorded revert-check stands.

Thanks — five of these are right and are now fixed. One is already satisfied. Detail per thread: Fixed — global stall was not panic-safe ( Fixed — Fixed — Fixed — Fixed — the 401 retry did not have to use a fresh bearer ( Not changed — overview tab is already asserted ( One caveat that belongs on the record: the two Playwright specs (#5943, #5876) still could not be run — the lane needs a core-bin build plus a browser and the machine was at its memory limit. The fixes above are reasoned from source, not from a green run, and the PR body already says these two must not be recorded as coverage. The two Rust tests are re-revert-checked against the tightened assertions. |
…resh-bearer proof
Five review findings, all legitimate:
- The scripted stall was not panic-safe. The env lock is deliberately recovered
from poisoning, so a panic between arming and the bare disarm left the global
at 25s and added 25s to every completion in every later test sharing the
handler. `arm_scripted_stall` now returns a `ScriptedStallGuard` that clears
the atomic on drop, `#[must_use]` so binding to `_` is caught.
- `elapsed < 15s` would have admitted a fixed 10s ceiling that ignored
OPENHUMAN_MODEL_CALL_TIMEOUT_SECS. Tightened to 8s — ~4x the configured 2s,
above the measured 2.43s and far below the reverted 25.50s.
- The missing-folder test checked only the phrase `resolved to`; a reader still
joining on the CWD would have reported some path and passed. Now asserts the
concrete workspace.join("no-such-folder").
- The embeddings key field is `type={setupShowKey ? 'text' : 'password'}` and
starts as a password input, which has no implicit textbox role, so
getByRole('textbox') matched nothing. Located by placeholder instead.
- The 401 spec counted requests, so a retry re-sending the stale token passed —
the exact regression tinyhumansai#5876 guards against. The route now rotates the stored
bearer before rejecting, modelling a core restart, and the test asserts the
retry carries the new token and that the panel rendered.
Not changed: the no-query case already asserts expectSelectedTab(page, 'welcome')
on the line after the absence check, which is what was asked for.
Re-revert-checked after these changes: 5767 pass 2.43s / FAIL 25.50s reverted;
5838 both pass 0.42s / both FAIL reverted. cargo fmt clean.

…race Two more review findings, both legitimate. Hash forwarding had no browser-level coverage. AppRoutes.skills.test.tsx does assert loc.hash === '#section-mcp', but under MemoryRouter, which never parses window.location.hash — so nothing showed that a real HashRouter round-trips a fragment nested inside the routing hash (#/connections?tab=mcp#section-mcp). That nesting is the part only a browser can answer, and it is the mechanism /webhooks relies on for #delivery-3-style deep links. Added a case asserting query and fragment survive together, plus the selected tab. The retry bound raced its own observation. seenAuth.length grows when the route handler STARTS and route.fallback() settles asynchronously, so a third request could arrive after the mid-flight <= 2 check and escape it. The breach is now recorded inside the handler — the only place that sees every attempt — and asserted after the flow reaches its terminal rendered state, as excessAttempts == [] plus seenAuth.length == 2. Both files are Playwright and still unrun: the lane needs a core-bin build plus a browser and the machine is at its memory limit, so these are reasoned from source. The PR body already flags this spec pair as not-to-be-counted coverage.
Rebased onto main after tinyhumansai#5969 merged, which independently added a model-call-ceiling test to agent_harness_e2e.rs covering the same behaviour as the one this branch carried. Rather than ship two tests for one bound, this drops ours and carries its review fix onto the one that landed. The surviving test had the same hole the review found in ours. It pins OPENHUMAN_MODEL_CALL_TIMEOUT_SECS and OPENHUMAN_AGENT_TURN_TIMEOUT_SECS, but a turn is bounded by a THIRD wall clock: web_turn_deadline() (web_chat/ops_part_01.rs:79) applies its own backstop from OPENHUMAN_WEB_TURN_TIMEOUT_SECS, and the web layer maps every harness Timeout onto the same generic turn_timeout copy. An inherited value below the 8s bound the test asserts would fire first, produce an identical terminal, and let the whole test pass with the per-call ceiling unwired. It is now cleared for the duration of the test, so it falls back to its 900s default and cannot decide the outcome. The one assertion ours had that the surviving test does not — that the dropped call's payload never reaches the transcript — is noted in W7-test-findings.md rather than silently lost. mcp_registry_e2e keeps the per-config failure lookups, with last_error asserted non-empty after trimming: the message promises a readable reason and is_some() also accepts Some(String::new()).

Summary
Six merged PRs were audited as MISSING or PARTIAL on e2e coverage (
W5-e2e-audit.md). This closes what could be closed honestly and records the rest. No product code changed — tests only. The audit's own lesson drove this: #5924 shipped with a Playwright test that asserted the bug it fixed. Every test here was checked against what the behaviour should be first, and every Rust test was revert-checked.
Revert-checked — each fails with the fix reverted, naming its own assertion
agent_harness_e2e::model_call_ceiling_bounds_a_wedged_call_below_the_turn_deadlinechat_done, turn succeededmemory_sources_e2e::memory_sources_folder_relative_path_resolves_against_the_workspacefolder does not exist: relative-notesmemory_sources_e2e::memory_sources_missing_relative_folder_reports_the_resolved_pathresolved toabsent#5767 — a new global stall knob on the scripted upstream holds every reply (a queue entry would stall only the first attempt; the retry would be answered instantly by the default completion and hide the timeout). With a 2s per-call ceiling under a 600s turn deadline the turn stops in 2.57s. Unwire
policy.limits.max_model_call_msand the 25s stall completes comfortably inside the 600s remainder, so the turn succeeds — which is exactly the pre-#5767 behaviour, and why elapsed time is the assertion. See the bug below for why the test does not assert which ceiling fired.#5838 — the payload of that vendor bump is openhuman#5830: a folder source configured with a relative path must resolve against the workspace, not the process CWD. The pre-existing folder test passes an absolute path — the branch the fix deliberately left alone — so it was never able to catch this. Second test covers the other half of the fix: a missing folder must say where the reader looked.
#5924 —
connections-tab-deeplinks.spec.tsalready covered this path but asserted the defect. It was written to pin pre-fix behaviour and says so (// Flip the two assertions below when that lands.); #5924 landed the fix and never flipped it. Onmainit asserts the opposite of shipped behaviour. Flipped to assert forwarding, renamed offBUG:, file header corrected, plus?tab=mcpand a no-query case. Not run locally (see below), but the correction is reasoned directly fromForwardSearch.tsx, which copiessearch+hashonto the destination.Written but NOT revert-checked — please do not record these as coverage
app/test/playwright/specs/embeddings-setup-modal.spec.ts(#5943) andcore-rpc-bearer-401.spec.ts(#5876). The Playwright lane needs a core-bin build plus a browser, and the machine hit its memory limit (0.02 GB free, ~1 GB swap remaining) with the cargo cap cut to 2. I did not run them rather than risk stalling the box. They are isolated new files — drop them if you would rather not carry unverified tests. No lane runs Playwright on PRs to
main, so they cannot affect CI here either way. Helper signatures were checked by hand againsthelpers/core-rpc.ts.Not covered, and why
#5851 (provider construction moved to
tinychannels::build_channels).start_channelsis the only host path that reaches it, and with a populated config it constructs live providers and enters their listen loops — it never returns. The obvious observable does not work either:handle_listbuildsChannelManager::new(ChannelsConfig::default(), ()), the static catalog, soopenhuman.channels_listis identical whether or not a channel is configured. Covering this needs a build-without-starting seam that does not exist today. Recorded rather than faked. Two bugs found while writing these — recorded, not pinned by any test
error_type: "turn_timeout"and "This turn ran past its time budget ... This usually means a tool call or a delegated sub-agent stalled" — when the turn had 598 of its 600 seconds left and no tool ran at all. The harness preservesper-model-call ceilingvsremaining wall-clock budgetprecisely so triage can tell them apart; the host collapses both. Per the "verify before you pin" rule I did not assert that message. Both are in
bugs/W5-test-findings.md, which also corrects an error in my own audit: #5838's fix ships in the linkedtinymemory_sourcescrate, not the cdylib — the audit's verdict stood but its reasoning did not.Submission Checklist
