Test end-of-run warning suppression with can_update_index false
The change conditions the end-of-run warning on self.can_update_index. When can_update_index is false, the warning is suppressed, but no test verifies this behaviour. A regression could cause the warning to appear again for agents without the update_memory_md tool, leading to noisy logs and confusing feedback. Add a test that runs a memory write cycle with can_update_index=false and asserts that the end-of-run warning is not emitted.

Match visible delegates test to agent.toml subagent list
The test expects "ask_docs" to not be in the visible delegates set, but the orchestrator's agent.toml still lists "ask_docs" as a subagent. Unless "ask_docs" is now a packed delegate (not advertised), the test will fail because the built prompt will include it. Either update agent.toml to remove "ask_docs" or restore it in the test set.

Summary
request_plan_review,plan_exit, andupdate_memory_mdfrom the orchestrator's direct tool list.review_codeandask_docsdelegate tools by dropping their subagent entries from this agent's allowlist.Problem
These five tools were still advertised to the chat orchestrator despite the narrower direct workflow. Removing
update_memory_mdalone would also leave a tool-result reminder that asks the agent to call an unavailable tool.Solution
Narrow only the orchestrator definition. The underlying plan, review, help, and memory tools remain registered for agents that use them. The memory-protocol middleware stays active and checks the turn's allowlist before suggesting an index update.
Submission Checklist
Impact
The orchestrator receives fewer tool schemas.
memory_storeremains available; this agent no longer receives an in-turn index-update reminder that it cannot act on. Other agents retain their existing tool scopes.Related
