Summary

  • Bumps vendor/tinymemory to the commit of fix(import): keep v1 taint as a taint:external_sync tag tinymemory#201, so the v1 memory import keeps TinyCortex's security taint.
  • Items imported from memory_docs rows that v1 marked external_sync (Gmail, Slack, Notion, Composio, MCP content) now carry the tag taint:external_sync (tinymemory_integrations::import::EXTERNAL_SYNC_TAG). Before, the importer dropped the taint, so synced content arrived looking like the user's own memory.
  • The tag rides in the item metadata, which the CortexDB engine stores whole, so it survives the move to hosted memory with no engine change.

Problem

Solution

  • The fix lives in tinymemory ([Feature] E2E: Update completeOnboardingIfVisible() across specs #201, approved). This PR only moves the gitlink.
  • The other 25 tinymemory commits since the old pin are memory-eval examples, docs and scripts (examples/memory_eval, docs/evals, integration/cortexdb, scripts/). The only library source change in the range is the import taint fix, and no public API changed.

Submission Checklist

  • Tests added or updated: the taint behaviour is tested in tinymemory#201 (31 legacy_import tests including two new ones, plus a decoder unit test). Here, cargo test -p openhuman --lib memory:: passes on the new pin (138 passed).
  • N/A: diff coverage; the change is a submodule pointer, with no OpenHuman source lines changed.
  • N/A: coverage matrix; behaviour lives in the vendored crate, and row 8.3.2 already lists the import crate.
  • N/A: feature IDs; no matrix row changes.
  • No new external network dependencies introduced.
  • N/A: manual smoke checklist; not a release-cut surface change.
  • N/A: linked issue closed; this addresses part of Free memory migration from local TinyCortex storage to hosted CortexDB for current subscribers #7005 only.

Impact

  • Desktop, web and CLI: the memory import only. Externally synced v1 items get one extra tag; nothing else in the mapping changes.
  • Security: synced content stays distinguishable after migration. OpenHuman's flows already treat any non-agent source as untrusted; the chat memory pack does not act on provenance yet, which is a separate follow-up.

Summary by CodeRabbit

    • Updated an underlying bundled component to a newer revision. No changes to public-facing functionality or behavior were specified, so there are no end-user feature or bug-fix changes to report for this update.

Move vendor/tinymemory to the commit of tinyhumansai/tinymemory#201: the
v1 importer now tags items from externally synced memory_docs rows with
taint:external_sync (import::EXTERNAL_SYNC_TAG) instead of dropping the
v1 taint. The other 25 commits since the old pin are memory-eval
examples, docs and scripts; no library API changes.

Part of tinyhumansai#7005.

Explanation

#201 requires the v1 importer to tag non-internal memory_docs.taint values for documents, learnings, and global facts, while preserving the specified fail-closed decoding and old-store behavior. The whole-PR diff shows only a gitlink change to 8d9a24f7a9f6eda23c80f14b4c3c0656218d1208. The vendored commit is not available for source inspection, so its importer behavior and tests cannot be verified. #7005 is related context and adds no separate coding requirement here.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check

Explanation

The superproject diff changes only the vendor/tinymemory gitlink. The PR description reports that the pinned range also contains memory-eval examples, documentation, integration code, and scripts, but the vendored commit is unavailable for inspection. The evidence does not establish whether those changes are unrelated to #201.

memory_v2_e2e failed in CI Fast before any test ran: the Node mock

The earlier CI Fast failure was infrastructure, not this pin: all 15 memory_v2_e2e tests failed at setup with "the mock backend did not become healthy" (the Node scripts/mock-api-server.mjs did not start within 20s) before any memory code ran. Locally on this pin the same suite passes 15/15. I could not re-run the job (no admin rights), so 07683d8 is an empty commit to retrigger CI.
