We have resumed interviews for limited categories of nonimmigrant visas, including visa applications for students and exchange visitors (F, M, and J), journalists (I), and temporary employment and investment (E, H1B, L, O, P). While the Embassy aims to schedule visa interviews as quickly as practicable, capacity is extremely limited, and applicants should expect wait times for visa interview appointments. Applicants in these categories should follow guidance available on U.S. Travel Docs to schedule an appointment.
We do not provide scholarships for an individual's study in the United States. However, you can discover a variety of U.S. government-sponsored educational and professional exchange programs.
Embassy Banjul provides education advising for the most qualified students who wish to explore the possibilities for higher education in the United States. If you are interested, please send an email to PublicDiplomacyBanjul@State.gov to find out how to attend the next advising session.
