Education & Exchanges

Welcome to EducationUSA Georgetown, Guyana

Studying in the United States is a great way for international students to participate in a diverse academic and cultural environment. Students have the chance to experience a unique and vibrant academic life and develop skills to excel in an internationally competitive world.

To assist students through the process, we have made available a variety of reference materials about U.S. universities, guidance for the application process; information on standardized testing, financial aid, and the visa application process. Students can visit the American Spots located at the National Library of Guyana and the University of Guyana Library and browse the collection on their own time. In person advising is available by appointment via email: pdgeorge@state.gov.

If you would like to receive the EducationUSA Weekly Updates, please send an email to PDGeorge@State.Gov with the words “EdUSA Weekly Updates” in the subject field and the words “Send me updates” in the message body.
