inexplicable lights! ladies in white! and anything else that goes bump in the night- right here on Olde Cape Cod...
Founded before Salem burnt its first witch, there can be no doubt that Cape Cod has collected its share strange phenomena since the arrival of our Puritan predecessors. Here we shall discuss said phenomena, compare experiences, share stories (both fictional and factual) and exchange legends and local lore. Want to check out that eerie abandoned barn down the street, but don't want to go it alone? Post your plans here and form an expedition!
I have a general distain for rules, so I promise to keep those of this this community to the very barest of minimums. That said, please observe the following:
1. Be honest. If you're posting a first hand account please make every effort to describe events as accurately as you can recall them. If you wish to embellish details for the sake of telling a story that will provoke a unanimous dropping of jaws among readers, simply note that your post is a work of fiction, and if you will, point out the bits that actually happened. I ask this of you only because it may happen that different parties have experienced various 'things that make you go hmmm' at different times but in the same place. So, in the spirit of comparing data as scientifically as possible, do attempt to relate the facts with the utmost dedication to Truth.
2. This really ought to go without saying, but please be respectful of the opinions you find herein. Members of this community are asked to maintain an open mind- even when 12 year old gamers show up raving about the UFOs they saw in the parking lot of the Cape Cod Mall. Skeptical comments are fine, but please, just play nice with the other occultists.
Did I leave something out of the interests or info? (I don't care that he has nothing to do with Cape Cod or the paranormal, David Bowie STAYS.) Let your moderator, the humble wishingtree know. Well, then I suppose that's all, my lovelies. Have at it. Happy ghost hunting...
