Hi, watchers! How's it going?

That's great. :D

Say, listen, I gotta tell you something. I've decided to split apart my projects because some of you are here for the icons and resources that allyoops and I put up, and some of you joined for the other stuff - the fandom art and the art that has nothing to do with fandom.

I've decided to move any fiction from my personal journal and add it to whatever art I'm doing, and I'll be posting it from this point forward in fishbowlmermaid.

I'll still post icons, wallpapers, and graphic resources here in iconistas with allyoops. I'm still going to be here.

The things I'll put up in the other community will be mix tapes, fiction (fan and original), and art (fan and original).

No pressure to go join, I know stuff like that isn't everyone's cuppa, which is kinda why I'm wishing it into its own cornfield.

...and that's the gist of it.

So, thanks for being here and being supportive, and I'll be back in a couple days with some new resources for everyone. :)

Oh, and there's a link to new Supernatural art in the fishbowlmermaid community.

Smallville fan-artiness

Hi! I kinda feel like I'm standing in front of the class naked here. But here we go:

Most of y'all will not be aware that I ship CLex, or you know, watch Smallville, because it's not something I iconify, or actually mention, but that's purely because I'm a shameless lurker and it's not really lurking if everyone knows you're doing it. So not knowing I'm at one with the CLex love, you will probably not know that one of my favourite SV stories is Interstitial by Punk. It, along with Lanning's Identical series, is something I read whenever I touch base with the Smallville fandom. Everyone's got their favourites, and this is one of mine.

I haven't been overly inspired to use Photoshop lately, but I was feeling the Smallville love the other night, and I was reading Interstitial, when I kinda slipped and fell over into fan-art. The result is a wallpaper-sized cover for Interstitial.

The last Smallville anything I ever did in Photoshop was Captain Planet. This is somewhat different.

Back when blogs and journals started on the scene, one of the hip memes were stortroopers, little pixel people made to look like bloggers and then stuck on sidebars to look cute.

Well I stumbled across one of the makers and created a bunch of bases. Then I customized them for the show Supernatural, changing hair, clothes, eye color, and adding moles and freckles. These are the results.

Feel free to adopt who you want and do what you want with them. :)
