Please don't tell me this is going to be one of those stories where we have to sacrifice our connection to Faru as a result of the barrier being strengthened/fixed ;w;;;;

I just want to say you're a really good writer. I'm sure you've heard those words before. I think you have a real gift in bringing people along the journey with just words so much so that I could feel the passion, joy, sorrow, pain, just everything. And I've never even went through job hunting in the animation industry before, nor do I have the overachieving personality you seem to have. But I know the message of never giving up on what you want. I know the feeling of unwantedness that makes you suicidal. I used that to fill in the blanks. I read stories like yours before and I thought before I played this game that it would be another one of those, where I would just feel bad for them without feeling for them, if that makes any sense. And I'm so glad I was wrong about that. This game has moved me so much and I didn't even need the message you were trying to tell me (already had to learn it due to my disability and neurodivergence giving me a wake-up call at an early age).
I kind of want to ask if you have a written transcript without the gameplay. Especially when I have friends who could probably use this story but currently don't have the time to play through the entire game. But I won't budge too much on it cause if you written it while coding, it's going to be a pain in the butt to go through and I'd rather just send my friends the entire game and wait until they're on holiday break at that point.
Thank you for making this game. It's really stuck with me after finishing it
For those who want to save their progress on browser, please don't default to the randomized name. Don't make the same mistake I made because I legit forgot what my name was ;w;
For the dev: really good idle game to be honest. I'm usually not into idle games because eventually the pacing slows down and I end up leaving the game on afk for so long I just close the game entirely to save battery. This is the first and so far, only game where I genuinely feel the joy of progress coming back to it. I've started to build a routine of checking it every 30-60 minutes, check my updates, admire the animation (it's so smooth!!!), go back to either the meadow or bridge, and afk again. Every time I come back it doesn't feel disappointing at all. You've successfully converted me to idle games somehow.
Hi, I don't post much, but if it's okay to leave a suggestion, can you bolden the cursor? I find that when you start getting late into the game, your cursor starts to blend in with all your helpers moving around, and you start to lose where your cursor is. It would be nice to have a keyboard button(s) to highlight your cursor or put a bigger border around your cursor.
Other than that it was a great game for me to lose myself into. I adore the animation (It's so smooth!!) and I love how interactive the gameplay was. Or maybe I'm a sucker for more interactive incremental games ;w;. Also I can't get enough of the constant clickity noises. They give me so much joy and I don't know whyy
Probably! Like a Level 0. It would be really cool if the How To was formatted the same way the other Daily Spell articles are. That way it kind of encourages the player to think "hm, if I can see the tutorial article without messing up my progress, maybe I can do the same for actual articles?" (Especially if they're the type to skim the How To Play stuff on most games lmao.)
Oh I didn't know that! I think adding a note on the How to Play would help a lot. I think the words "preview archive" instead of "archive" would make the player understand they won't lose their progress, but I can see how that also looks really cluttered ;w;. If you want, you can also add in a small note on the bottom that says "Forgot a name? Click the archive!" or something along those lines, since there's a lot of free space at the bottom
Hi! I absolutely am addicted to this game and storytelling. It's not my usual type of game but I ended up having a lot of fun for some reason ;w;
If I can give a suggestion, I do wish that I could preview past Daily Spell articles while I'm doing the current headline. I got so lost during the Convention because I completely forgot people's names ;w;. I think it would make it easier (and lean into the whole puzzle-solving portion!) if there was a way to preview older/previous articles
