Mixxpell Demo
A downloadable game for Windows
(Introductions to connect to others is at the end)
Welcome to Mixxpell! The battle of wizards at the International Wizard Convention. Here, you combine spells and test them out through battle with other wizards for fame and glory.
Build your deck of spell cards.
In each round, players get to choose a spell card to upgrade their build.
Active spells cast magic, and support spells modify the way magic works.
Mix them to create a unique combo.
It could be something powerful to overwhelm your opponent or something more creative in a way no one ever expects.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.
Run around unpredictably, use movement spells to dodge or close the distance, and cast a barrier if you have to block a hit.
And hit them with your best shot when you see the perfect opening!
Features include:
- Over 10,000 spell combinations and more to come!
- Online Multiplayer
- Local Multiplayer
- Character Customization
HOW TO PLAY AND CONNECT TO OTHERS
Hello, everyone! Here's our first public demo of Mixxpell! You can download and play it right now! And there are some stuff you need to know before playing:
- Steam needs to be running before you start the game.
- You need two people to play it. One person should be the Host and the other the Guest.
- The Host should press the "Make Lobby" button, and it will generate the Lobby ID. Tell the Guest the Lobby ID for them to join(You can copy-paste it).
- The Guest should enter the Lobby ID in the "Enter Lobby ID" section. And then press the "Enter Lobby" button.
- If anything other than that interaction happens (Like when you've pressed the "Make Lobby" button and then tried to join another game as the Guest or something), you might want to restart the game.
- If it doesn't work, restart the game and switch the role of the Host and the Guest. It might work.
- If the screen doesn't change after the Guest has pressed the "Enter Lobby" button, wait a little bit. And if there's still no response, try restarting the game.
- Expect some jank! It's still very early in the development, so there'll be a lot of bugs, errors, janky design, problematic UI/UX, ETC.
