This community is dedicated to those authors and small press/micro press publishers who do not conform to the mainstream, traditional idea of publishing. This is a place to share resources, ask questions, and discuss the ins and outs, ups and downs to the path of independent (self) publishing. We invite those who are traditionally published to join us, or have the hope of traditionally publishing, but bear in mind this is not the place to sell traditional publishing as The One True Way.
We welcome authors, artists, and publishers who identify as independent.
Flaming will not be tolerated. Self-promotion of your books, blog tours, and blog are only allowed on Tuesdays and Fridays. We'd like to keep this a place mostly for discussion with a little promotion to help fellow authors.
Feel free to introduce yourself, tell us what you write, if you've published, and where you can be found (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). The moderator will keep a running post of introductions so everyone can easily be found.
