I Wonder Why You Gave That?

World knew the devastating aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan that hit our country (Philippines). Everyone is now familiar to the small island of Tacloban and sadly for a pity reason. I know that typhoon is very common in our country since our neighbor is nothing more than but the Pacific Ocean. But never have I thought that Haiyan will be listed as one of the strongest typhoons ever hit our country or even in the world!

Having said that, let me just extend my deepest appreciation on behalf of my fellow countrymen to all the people in the world who shared their help in every possible ways.

. . . .

Now the lighter and at least confusing (for me) side of my post…

Last week, I volunteered at Red Cross. One thing I’ve noticed was that EVERYBODY wants to help (which is really good). They share money, food, clothing, service and even blood (you know? Vampire’s food); in which I personally admit is really generous and kind. But, there is one problem though; sometimes we forget understand the real meaning of helping. Why? Because with all these things we can give or do to help unfortunate people, we have to at least understand their real situation. Fail to say, that some help needs to redefine their meaning.

When I was sorting and packing donated clothes, here are the things I’ve noticed…

1. Thongs or Corsets – Please explain to me why they need to wear these stuffs in such devastated situation. If your intention is for them to go back in reproduction? Well, couldn’t you wait a little longer? Seriously?!

2. Used underwear – Allow me to picture this…if I am one of the people who will receive used clothes, would I have consider taking used underwear from someone I don’t know even that maybe…just maybe might have herpes or even worst? Of course not! C’mon, bacon garter briefs?!

3. Gowns – Everything has been destroyed. Everybody just wants to get by and survive. And yet, you still expect them to wear gowns! C’mon?! You should know better.

4. Ripped Clothes – Okay! You want to give your old or unused clothes right?  One Kardasian BUT you have to consider is, if these clothes are still wearable. And I’m not taking about the size or color or how old it is but ask yourself if the clothes you are giving do not look like worn by “The Hulk”. You know what I mean. Lol

5. Finally, make it clean. Like acceptable clean…please.

Unfortunately, I can only speak about what I’ve noticed in the clothes department. I know that I shouldn’t be saying this but I feel it just right to iterate the implication of helping just for the sake that we were told to help or we feel we need to. We should help with the consideration of knowing who we are really helping and what they really need in such situation.

Once again, thanks for all the help and just let Karma return the favor. :)

Oh! BTW, on a curious and funny side of my observation, I kind of noticed that most of donated clothes are missing on female lower garments (i.e. shorts, pants, skirts and so on). And, I wonder why? Lol

Enjoy your weekend.

P.S. It’s always never too late help.

Rekindle (Part 2)

Pardon my absence but I will honestly admit that I lose my interest in blogging; mainly for 1 reason only. That is PROCRASTINATION.

I feel that since WP is now blocked in our new office, I have no way to blog again whenever I’m free of things to do and check it as much as I like to if ever I wanted something to be posted. Having said that, I know that even though the site is already blocked, I can still do it at home or even in my phone. And that is when I found out that my main reason why I lose my interest in writing my thoughts is procrastination.

And because of what happened recently in my life that resulted to significantly change me as a person, I decided to open my word app and start writing again. I realized that writing my thoughts helps me go back to certain events that happened to me and see what I have gained in terms of lessons and wisdom. It also helps me to recall the things I shouldn’t have done in a particular situation. It gives me a chance to go back a day, a week, or even a moment in my life to look back and what I can do better next time if ever I will be in the same situation again. Comparing the time when I was still writing and stopped writing, I felt that I was more disciplined person back then; when I was still writing than I am now (when I stopped).

So, having this realization urge to write and post something again. I guess the purpose of writing a blog for me is not more on sharing my thoughts over the internet and let the world of strangers see it but specifically helping me to define what type of person I am and what type of person I want to be.

I never really owned an actual diary before. Even the idea of having a diary as a guy somehow gives me an icky feeling of being gay (no offense). But this site, my blog, somehow gives me that purpose of having my thoughts and experiences saved or captured that it will give me a chance to look back and enjoy. I guess this might also gives you an impression of how deep person I am rather than the usual dose of my fond to humor; but don’t be misled by this post because I know to myself that I am also a shallow guy with simple pleasures in life.

This is it for now.

Forgive Me Ladies!

Ladies, biblically, you are really God’s greatest gift to man(kind). But, this post today will not talk about all the good stuffs about you and why you make the world go round or why you make ice caps melt…this is NOT about that. Instead, it’s actually the other way around. I wanted to point some things that I noticed, observed and realized about you. In other words, things like, give me the impression like…Seriously? or What the?!

1) Since pole dancing is very popular today; I can say that this thing became really hit for all the ladies including partly ladies (you know; third sex). And, I agree with this, you find something to enjoy and most interesting about it is that some ladies are really taking some time and effort to learn how to pole dance for several reasons. BUT, here is my problem, it doesn’t mean that whenever you see a pole in the street, you can just start swinging and show the world that you can clamp your thighs on these vertical metal poles. This is a freaking street, where people walk and pass by to go on with their normal lives. You, as a lady, should still be aware that there are certain places you cannot do this pole dancing thing. I know that you’re really taking it seriously but try not to put in on the next level. Like “street level”, because it will not be funny if I throw you some bills and say shake that booty baby! Feel me?!

2) Next, we all can agree that God is not fair when it comes to showering the good looks to everyone; Right? And, one way to fix these physical shortcomings or probably exponentially show off your good looks is using make-ups. You see, I do not have problems with make-ups. To be honest, I like them for you. My problem is with some ladies who are good looking and apparently really mean or really pain in the ass or more harshly…A bitch!

Yes, I said the B word and before you start to get mad at me, try to be honest that they’re just ladies who are naturally mean. We all know that these types of ladies do exist and we cannot do anything about it but just merely or painfully accept them for what and who they are. We all could agree again, that true beauty is beyond make-ups, fancy dresses and artificially (Frankenstein) enhanced body figures.

So, to all the b*tchy ladies out there, try to be humble and nice sometimes. Because at the end the day, we just wanted you to be happy as well.

Side Joke: I wonder, how come that I don’t see any edible make-ups? Don’t you think it will be nice as well if they have these types of make-ups? Where, forgive me but, mean ladies could eat some to hopefully or surely show or enhance their inner beauties? You know what I mean. Lol

3) Before I start this 3rd and last observation, I just want to iterate (intensely) that I am a person against violence of any sort. I believe love can fix anything and we live in not so perfect world. But, since as a human, I still thought of doing something physical to someone I’m really pissed off. Like moments you really can’t figure why they’re doing this to you? Things like no legitimate or reasonable explanations at all. You know? Bad stuffs.

Admittedly, one good example of this was an experience with my exs’. We all know at some point of the relationship you will see all the nature of the person you chose, trusted and loved. And, some of these natures are not acceptable at all hence you learn to compensate. This is where the problem happens; because regardless how much you try to accept and understand these unacceptable natures, you will snap at some point and just gave you dark and vivid ideas. As part of the process in accepting these not-so-acceptable natures, you will reach to the point where you just thought to yourself hitting that person will be your last and only remaining option to tell her that she is being ridiculously pain in the ass and to straighten her up!

Once again, as a guy, you should never ever forget that you should NOT hit a girl. But, to be honest, being a guy, we can give you plenty of reasons why we should because of some stupid things you do…we just don’t, can’t and won’t! (Lol) I’m just saying.

Probably, posting this once again will raise the eyebrows of some or majority famale readers. There’s also high probability of being back fired at me…again. But, if you really pay attention to my message, you will see the depths of it and you could thought to yourself…Oh, he is actually partly right (saving myself). Also, you will know that I’m just kidding in a quite honest way. A post that merely a product of my observations to things I see about ladies…in 28 years of knowing them…somehow. Also, please be informed that I still adore you in A LOT of ways. The main reason I post this is because of the lady I saw in my #1 note and the rest just went though my head. So, should you blame me or the pole dancing lady? Lol

P.S.

Aside from mentioned disclaimer above, there is also a high percentage that I might be single for a very long time because of this post. Lol

Of course! You all know I’m just kidding! So drink your chill pill and relax. :

Have a great day, enjoy life and peace homies!

Some Good Advise!

Okay, as one famous line says –

The More The Merrier!

This is my 2nd posts of the day. You’re all welcome! Lol

…

And in a nonsensical relation to my intro here is another very good advice –

Never Shop For Groceries When You Are Hungry!

Well, I have a different one but I think same thought. Here –

If you only had few hours of sleep, don’t ever go to sheets and pillows sections!

And that, my friends, is a very good advice to all of you who always had problems with their sleeps.

Few weeks back, I visited a friend of mine who just arrived from her flight and stayed in a very nice hotel (Diamond Hotel). Powered by caffeine and probably few hours of sleep under my belt, I still managed to find sometime to meet her (them) there.

We have a very nice time, saying his’ and hellos’ to each other. During the conversation, I raise a topic how wonderful the bed sheets are. I told them –

I also want this one. I want to sleep with this kind of sheets”

Funny enough and with envious feeling…I slowly caress the sheets and feel every thread of it. With only thoughts of how many thread count this sheet has – Maybe 600? Maybe 800? Or, even more? I was envious (period)

It was 9pm and I told them that I had to go out and be at work at 11pm. Luckily, I only have half day shift that day and promised them that I’ll be back at 2am. As my shift ends, I head straight back to hotel and as expected they were all already sleeping. Every nice spots were already occupied and this friend of mine told me that I can sleep beside her but on the carpet just close to her. Lol

However, I refused, I told her that I can sleep near her parents which also sleeping on the carpet because the bed was already occupied with her cute nieces. Unfortunately, she insisted and evidently I can’t argue more. I just decided to sit beside her…on the carpet. Unfortunately again, I’m nocturnal…I can’t sleep, as long as I know its still evening; I will, for sure will have problem sleeping. So, the good thing was I brought my book with me that day (The Extraordinary Education of N.B.) – Sigh! This is quite long so I’ll skip the details…the next day… I had a chance to feel the sheets again before I left and head home.

The bus pit stop was exactly at the mall parking lot and we (passengers) have no way to avoid going inside the mall. And, here is where my very good advice comes in. I end up walking inside the mall, specifically bed sheets and pillows section. My head is loaded with the idea of me sleeping in a very soft, scented and comfortable sheets – I was hooked.

Quickly, I roamed around and asked several promotion ladies if they have discounts or good deals. Since, I have an idea how to buy sheets, I was aimed to get and buy new sheets and pillow cases with a very high or reasonable thread counts. Finally, I bought plain white sheets (800 thread counts) and a pair of pillow cases (500 thread counts / each). I rushed out the mall, headed straight to my apartment, opened the sheets and pillow cases, put the sheets on my bed…and boom! I was at peace!

A very much happy and satisfied sleeping me!

But, quite frankly, the only reason I both those sheets and pillow case was because, I was powered by envious of these freaking hotel sheets and deprived of good hours of sleep which was fine because as you obviously see…I was happy. Lol

Anyways, once again, have a good and enjoy life.

Who’s Driving?!

Last weekend, a very close friend of mine asked me to accompany and spend weekend together. I don’t have usually plans during weekends so I just agreed and decided to meet her. As usual, the plan is to meet around 1pm but the thing about her is that when she said 1pm she meant 12pm – an hour earlier than expected.

So, I’ve arrived 1pm and again she arrived earlier than expected which really nice and impressive of her. We had our lunch first before we figure out where to go and what to do. After our lunch we agreed to skip movie or spa. I suggested let’s try to visit the near by amusement park (Enchanted Kingdom) which quite far from where we were that time. And, we mutually decided to go and visit her sister in Rizal which is really farther compared to amusement park. That day, she brought a car, which I can’t drive because I have an expired license. So, I let her drive and here’s where the interesting part happened. I haven’t seen her drives an automatic car before. Or, better yet, I haven’t been with her driving in long distance driving. Yes! I was apprehensive but one impressive side was – I think she looks very hot or sexier seeing her drives a car. *wink*

Unfortunately, these are things I’ve noticed with her driving skills:

1. While leaving the parking lot and about to pay our parking fee to the parking lady, her window was like a meter away from the booth hence the lady needed to pull out half of her body from her booth just to reach the ticket and get the payment. Lol

2. Swerving! It was at stop sign and she discussed whether to take left or straight. She decided to turn left. We were in the second lane and while on green! Luckily, traffic officers were eating…I guess. Sigh.

3. While on the road, she decided she wants to eat order food at drive-thru . So, we saw McDonald’s and we decided to get in there. What happened was we passed few meters away from the entrance and end up reversing. Sigh.

4. Bumpy roads! I wanted to tell her the car is Sedan and a not Pick-Up truck. I just told look ahead and notice if there are bumps ahead. (We were laughing the whole time when I told her this – maybe because of the several bumps we experienced) Lol

5. Red light means S.T.O.P.! We were in some part of the city (Pasig City) where traffic rules are really strict. I know that everywhere has traffic rules but not everyone really abide them or into the extent of being strictly implemented. So, going back, I told her that it’s a STOP sign yet she still move forward and there! Just in the corner, a traffic enforcer. To make this part short, she was given a warning because of her ID. Perks of working there and sorry it’s too confidential to share. Tsk!

6. Intersections! Whenever we’re about to enter intersections it was like I’m being put in a situation where my whole body will be thrown off the cliff. It was crazy!

7. Promises! She always tells that she will not hurry anymore but we always end up hitting bumpy roads and probably tear and wear out her shock absorbers. Sigh.

8. Finally, just time to hit the gasoline station, just when about to park beside refilling station, we hit the gutter and thought we hit the side of car but the gasoline boy confirmed that it was just our tires which gave us both reliefs.

Okay, to finally answer the question in the title. Aside from being a very close friend, she happens to be my ex-girlfriend. How does it work between us? Still going out and considering so-called-best-friends? We also don’t know as well…but it works so I don’t need to explain anymore. As for my personal opinion about her driving skills, and maybe I was a bit exaggerating on my observations above or maybe I’m not. But, to be fair, she can drive from Point A to Point B and that I can give her.

Anyways, right after so-called road trip it gave me a funny thought that maybe, just maybe – she was trying to kill me. In addition, I don’t usually fasten my seat belt whenever I take the shotgun but after experiencing no. 2…I am very much convinced that I have to. Lol

All in all we really had a great time together, we were laughing the whole time, we had a relaxing moment when with her sister and sister’s husband. I also had a nice time playing with her three adorable nieces. As much as I wanted or we wanted to look us each other; I decided to look at the road while she drives.

BTW, just to let you know, I am still ALIVE;. This is not me being a ghost or fulfilling one of my last will. I wrote this post just to share because I think it was funny or fun and fortunately she will never know or see. Lol

I’ll try to post some more once my current dilemma at work has subsided. Unfortunately, I’m still preoccupied with these resignations and stuffs on-going. And, Yes! Don’t worry I’ll find time to renew my driver’s license so she don’t need to drive anymore. Sigh.

So, that’s if for now. Have a wonderful day and have a safe driving.

The (Freaking) Deal Breaker!

She is nice.
She is so nice; I have to say it twice.
She is beautiful.
She is very sweet.
She is very down to earth.
She has lovely eyes.
She has very kissable lips…evah!
She is a wonderful person.
And most of all…she’s already freaking…TAKEN!

Yes! Ladies and gentlemen, after all the wonderful and positive adjectives I’ve mentioned above, the last one really suck!

Has this ever happened to you? You are talking with a person that you are starting to like and somehow gave you the overwhelming feeling of hope to see your future; a future, where you picture yourself and this person you are talking with being together? Together, I meant as a couple or in a relationship. And along the conversation, you will find out that…that person is already freaking taken?

Well, I’m not sure about you but sadly this happened to me. I’ve been single for quite sometime now and frankly, I have no complains being in this status…yet (Lol). So, I believe that I am entitled to picture myself to be with someone I really like since technically I still don’t have someone who I say I’m committed with. Unfortunately though, the person that I think I was starting to like is already in a relationship. Taken by someone I don’t really care about. Although, I felt envious for this someone having the person I really like.

But, I guess that’s just a normal reaction.

So…anyways, instead of just being fully disappointed, frustrated and bitter, I just thought that it would be nice or funny to write something about the possible reaction(s) to this kind of situation. When you are talking to a person you are starting to like or probably already like and along the conversation she will throw what I call…the deal breaker.

***Disclaimer:

Assuming that both of you have been talking for quite sometime now and you’re starting to really like this person and along the conversation she throws in this deal breaker.

Also, these reactions are just purely for fun. So, don’t be offended. And in any instance that you wish to do these suggestions, please be in mind that I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE although I would love to hear the result(s). (Lol)

Scenario 1

You: It would be nice if you could join us this coming Saturday?

Her: Oh sure! I would really love to go. Can I bring my boyfriend with me?

(In his head, his real reaction)
You: @#$@@#$@#! We’ve been talking here for hours now and you are just saying that!

(Acceptable reaction)
You: Hmmm, not sure if that will be allowed but if it is…surely you can bring him with you. I guess, there’s nothing wrong about that.

Scenario 2

You: I used to work in that company.

Her: Really?! My boyfriend is working there. I hope you know him.

(In his head, his real reaction)
You: $#@$!@! Seriously?! 3 Days is not enough for you to tell me that you have a boyfriend? I’m now starting to like you and you are just saying that. Well, frankly, I don’t want to know anything about your boyfriend. As a matter of fact, I haven’t met him yet but I already know that I don’t like him. Because of him, all my possible hopes of my future with you is freaking thrown out the window.

(Acceptable reaction)
You: Oh! You’re boyfriend is still working there? What’s his name?

Her: Atty. Do Evil y Lucky Bastard. (Obviously, I just made this name up!)

(Acceptable reaction)
You: Ah! No. Don’t ring bell.

(Not-So-Acceptable reaction)
You: Oh! meeting. Sorry, have to go! Ciao!

Well, these are just 2 scenarios I could think of for now. I know these might not be true but since I thought about them; there’s a possibility right?! (Lol). And since, I was somehow disappointed I just thought why not write something funny and share it here.

So, going back to my question, has this ever happened to you?

Blue Dream

Last night, I woke up from sleep because of a dream. Dream which I thought was a nightmare because it woke me up and it made me so nervous (not sure why). I was so wondered and puzzled what it was. I even thought to draw it right away and postpone going back to sleep just to ensure I will be able to remember it and do something like to get answers or find the true meaning of what it symbolizes. But, I didn’t. I just let my wonders and confusion faded…which I thought it did but I was wrong.

As I walked to our office, it reminds me again. But, since it was one of the dreams I wanted to forget and didn’t really want to put more attention….I just ignored the thought. After few hours while on break, It pops again in my head. I don’t why and I started to become worried on why this dream keeps showing in my head even though I constantly tried to ignore it. Then, finally, I decided to focus my attention and face it once in for all. Also, for the sake of giving meaning to what it really meant to/for me.

First thing I did, was doodled it. I know my illustrations are very far from what I saw but I guess this is the closest thing I can give. To at least show what I’ve seen and share what I’ve felt.

Before

I know! kind a gross.

After

Still gross...but quite acceptable. Lol

The dream I had was very clear, the colors, the details and the experience I felt. The dream I had is this (At least what was left in my head). As I completed crossing a path filled with different plants, colorful flowers and trees, something started showing and forming in my right foot. I tried to remove them by scratching thinking that they are just ordinary dirt that I got from walking to these so-called path of greeneries…I realized they are seeds and as I tried to remove them, they started to grow and multiply. And as God as my witness, I was really nervous thinking that something is growing in my foot and I cannot remove it. Few minutes, no. Few seconds later they started growing, they are all alive. These things in my foot are alive and growing and I cannot do anything about it, nothing but just to observe and look at them as they grow. This part freaked me out…watching very closely I started noticing that some stems continuously rising up, leaves keep on forming and flowers started blooming and they’re all blue. Nervous but observant, I took a very long and good look at the details and somehow the beauty of what was forming on my foot…and finally, I pushed myself to wake up.

Since this dream somehow managed to popped up in my head several times despite the fact that I just want it to be ignored and let it pass. I decided to create a post about it and tried to do some research.

To be honest, the definition or what my dream symbolizes turned out to be a positive thing to look forward to or perhaps accept. It indicates growth for plants and movement for the foot. After reading this, I was relieved. I don’t want to discuss more about the details of movement and growth and the relation of these things to my life…but knowing this dream and what it symbolizes, what it’s all about…I’m quite happy, relieved and satisfied all at the same time. But seriously, no more dreams like that!!!

And, once again, I failed in giving titles in my post. I’m not really sure what I can use to title this post but I think the closes thing I can think of is the one that you see now.

Anyways, I just posted random thoughts to look back and remind myself. You can either comment though or just simply read.

Good day and sweet dreams!

Late Sunshine

As you know, late last week I received a turbulence of emotions in one day. From sadness to anger to happiness; all in one day. As much as I want to discuss every detail of these emotions, I will just put all in summary and give more effort to point out the happiness part. After all, it’s my sole intention anyway…to share some happy thoughts. Lol

Alright, the sadness happens when a very close friend of mine (actually my ex) left our country to work and accompany her sister somewhere abroad…again. Although, she informed me that her flight will be sometime last week which I thought Friday but it turned out to be earlier than expected. So, after my shift (way to early) I rushed to the airport thinking that I might be able to give her something before she leaves…I was thinking to give her flowers but unfortunately there was no flower shop opened at the time. As I arrived at airport, I roamed around, checked nearby shops, talked to guards if there is one…disappointedly, none. Sadly, I didn’t give her any and we only have a very limited time to say goodbyes. I know I could do more but due to unexpected notice – I wasn’t able to. But, surely I will miss her though. This is the summarized sad part.

For the anger, with all the hassle and rush about my ex leaving. I received an SMS message from a college/close friend asking if he can borrow money. This friend had been very helpful to me before when I was college which I owe him more than monetary value – suck though, but that’s life. Although, we really don’t have that constant communication anymore, we know to ourselves that we still have each other’s back (well, at least I still do). And, one thing I know about him is that he sucks in managing debts and money related issues. But, he is my friend and I am bound to help him…at least forever. Anyways, as he asked for money, I threw some relevant/related questions like – why he needs the money, how much and when he will be able to pay it back. And, out of no where; probably he got mad or disappointed for my probing and said – “It’s OK dude if you can’t. Thanks anyway!”

Wow! An exclaimed?! I was just asking questions but he felt irritated or embarrassed. How to do I know? Because, we’ve been close buddies and I know him for how many years now. Anyways again, to make the story short I told to worry just the other half and I’ll give him the rest once he managed to get it. This is how I help a friend especially when there is a monetary value involves…I don’t give everything…as if I can do that. Lol

This is somehow made me slightly mad for his reaction but still it was OK! (Noticed my reaction?! that’s exactly my point.)

And finally, the happiness part. Later that evening, I was called to have a meeting with our Director “Big Cheese”. I was expecting that it will be related to our possible trip to US but without expecting he handed me an envelope with notes…$$$$$$ (I’m exaggerating with the dollar signs. Lol), wow! I didn’t see that coming! I don’t even know that I have one or we all have one. The amount is bigger than my 13th month. I tried to absorb the moment and enjoyed the unexpected grace. Despite the unfortunate events happened in the morning and afternoon…that evening seems still given me the ray of sunshine I needed to brighten up my day/evening.

So, since I honestly admit that I’ve been getting smarter in dealing with my finances. I decided to put the majority of it for the rainy days. And with few excess, indulged myself to shop some books that I really wanted, office attires and buy a cake for my homies.

And there you go! The reason I share this post is to give you some of the thoughts below:

Cherish past relationships and friendship. Sort of!

Find ways to help regardless if it’s big or small. Just be sure it’s sincere.

Be aware what’s happening to your surroundings but enjoy good surprises.

Always reward yourself even with small things!

I know some of you probably already know these things but be glad I’m saying this to remind you again! Lol

Side-note:

With unexpected bonus, here are the things I did in excess of it to reward myself.

1. Gave my “Nanay” (mom) unexpected treat.
2. Bought books – (Although, some are not available…yet, I still managed to get some though. And, another thing is that…mall is on sale!

    a. This Is Not A Book by Keri Smith

    b. The Magic ( The Secret ) by Rhonda Byre

    c. The Mysterious Benedict Society by Thenton Lee Stewart

    d. Keep Calm and Carry On by Andrews McMeel.

3. Watched Wrath of the Titans
4. Ate donut sticks.
5. Will probably increase my portfolio.

Okay, for my usual closing…

Enjoy life and be happy!

Blame Saturday!

It is Saturday who pushed to me do this! And I have to report in the office just see if there will be some users that needs my support. For some reason, I think that I was being set up by my manager which making start to believe…just now. Lol

Although, it’s very rare that we (I meant just “me”) have to report during weekends especially in the evening…alone. But, someone has to pay bills baby! You might all think that I am mad or sad for going to work today. Well, sorry to disappoint you but I am not. I like working with peaceful ambience, when everyone is sleeping and nobody is around…it helps me think and focus more on what I do which happens to be for this specific moment are …not related to work. Lol

Since I am pretty much just waiting here to complete my shift to end, I decided to read blogs, news, articles and of course listen and watch to YouTube videos (talking about being productive employee! Eh?!). After few hours, I have an epiphany thought of seeing the last 10 commandments which to be honest, I don’t really remember seeing it for a very long time since when I took my first communion and when I went into our local church to be a sacristan for one summer (which I didn’t even complete). Lol

This is not really meant all for me but for the famous people who I personally believe really needs to know or at least reminded that our lives (as Catholic) have these rules which probably be able to save them in the first place. Well, unfortunately, I can’t blame them for not being aware that we “still” have this. Not being hypocrite, I failed at some of these commandments probably no. 2, 4 and 7 (not technically). I was thinking about no. 9 because of my assumption that my seatmate is gay – which turns out that he really is – So, I guess, I’m excepted. Lol

Okay, okay, okay, here are the 10 commandments and my personal opinion to which they really fit…at the moment. Lol

1. You shall have no other gods before me.

To start, I think Joseph Kony really suits for this one.

2. You shall not make for yourselves an idol.

We all know Lebron James should be aware that there are other people better than him.

3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.

Fake religious leaders! Sigh! I can’t name them because I still want to live. Lol

4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

I think me, because I rarely go to Church. In my defense, I always pray before going to sleep.

5. Honor your father and your mother.

People who are driven to do things in 6th and 8th. Wait! Actually, you can refer to all if you want.

6. You shall not murder.

Obviously, about War, Snatchers, Hold uppers, Gunmen…everyone who takes lives for personal and greedy motives.

7. You shall not commit adultery.

I think we can all agree that Tiger Woods and Ashton Kutcher sit on this one.

8. You shall not steal.

Corrupt politicians! Nuf said.

9. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

All fans of overrated Azkals. (I’m just kidding here!)

10. You shall not covet.

All the countries that claim Spratly Islands “their island” and show off their military forces/capabilities to be bossy.

To be honest, it is really nice to see these 10 commandments again. It gave me a sense of awareness what will be my rules in terms of living a reasonable and an honest life or something like that. Anyways, my shift is almost done and I have to post this now. So I will leave you with my disclaimer below:

Maybe, this post has offended someone for reading it. Again, please be informed that with my utmost respect, I don’t mean any harm or crossing the line by sharing my personal thoughts and comments.

So, I hope you all have happy weekends and enjoy life. Btw, a little fact, the first 5 paragraphs above were ended in “Lol” which I didn’t do intentionally and I thought would be funny if I just leave it there and put a note here. (Here’s one more –  Lol!)

Moving Out

This is my first post for this year and I must say…without exaggeration; I believe I have enough optimism for 2012 which I think like everyone else does. This year is really important for me because some of my major plans in life would/should happen at sometime of these coming months (crossing fingers). I have made several drafts on what I think are interesting to post but none of them gave me the inspiration and influence I needed to be a better person and how I want to see my year goes by. With less than 10% of interest to Nostradamus’s prediction for 2012, I believe again that I or we will be fine. Lol

This year of 2012, I have finally decided “Moving Out”.

Going back last year, I was already thinking to move out and start living alone. I have asked myself several questions if I can do it but due to several reasons…I was convinced that I can’t do it… yet. I realized that I just came back working abroad and pretty much don’t have a regular source of income to shoulder my expenses to live alone. Also, to think my “homies” (this is how I call my family. Lol) somehow missed me after 2 years…So, I think it was just right and rational to stay and make some plans to make things better.

Staying with my homies made my life easier in terms of handling basic problems/tasks but this is not what I wanted. I want something different; I want something new, and something that I believe would make my life more interesting and wonderful. Don’t get me wrong I love my homies, but I have plans and goals for myself. And, having plans and goals are not enough…we have to do something and we have to start at some point as well.

Few months have past, made some plans and took some actions to remove my hesitations of moving out. And finally, this will be the year where I can do that. I know that a lot of things will change in different aspects in my usual routines but I confidently enough to say that I can handle that (Chicken Feed! Lol). Not to mention, I already experienced living alone and can honestly say that I’ve learned a lot like cooking different dishes, budgeting, waking up without alarm clock and so on. (Lol) Again, I have no complains because these things made me a stronger person today.

I think I’m a bit dramatic in iterating the details of my first goal for this year – but you can’t blame me because this is something really important to me (I have the rights!). Having said that, I’d realized as well that, it will be helpful for this goal to really happen if I write it and post it in my blog. This way, I will be constantly reminded that this goal should happen. There are several reasons why I want to move out and I don’t want to discuss or elaborate it anymore; because we might simply get bored. Lol

Little you know, our country values the term “Close Family Ties” which has a hidden and irrational definition (If I must say). Anyways technically, at my age I don’t really need my parent’s permission in doing some stuffs about my life but with utmost respect; I still did ask for their permission which turned out not really asking but more on explaining why (Lol). Nothing much they can do, they just agreed. So, come this February and that will obviously next month…I will start living alone…again.

I know at some point it will be hard but I think it will turn out good…again (personal reasons). I made some questions below which I also hilariously answered and I think you can ask yourselves if you considering moving out.

1. Is the place or area where you wish to stay is close enough to where you work or study?

Yes!

2. If working, do you think you have the financial capability to rent without compromising your plans in terms financial aspect of your life? (Too deep, but totally relevant)

I hope so.

3. Do you think you are responsible enough to handle the basic/complex aspect of living alone? (i.e., preparation of food, hygiene, budgeting and so on)

Hmmm, yes?!

4. Finally, ask yourself if you think, things will be better if you move out?

True! (Lol)

I did not put all the questions I’d used for coming up this decision. I just wanted to share these initial questions that you can ask to yourselves if you ever plan moving out. I am not saying that everyone should do it or rushing moving out. I just want to say that this is same principle in making basic decisions, if you think doing something will put you in a better status, then why wouldn’t try. At the end of the day, your pursuit to happiness is your sole reason in doing things and staying alive.

I’ll leave you with a quote below:

“Everything we do in life gives us the experience, knowledge and wisdom we will share to others. So, for that, we should not be afraid in doing things but perhaps be brave yet cautious.”
