Hi, everyone!

I just spent a weekend at my awesome aunt's house. She introduced me to Sims, she's nice, and she spoils me like woah. It's pretty damn awesome, and she's migrated on to TS3 so I played it at her house. I took a trillion pictures, and so here I am to share them! Care for a spot of pudding? Surprisingly, it's rather satisfying. My aunt has all the EPs, so I had such fun.

So I resolved to recreate a TS2 Sim to be my TS3 guinea pig. And I chose Imago, just because I could.

Well, that's that! But before I go, I'm just letting everyone know that I'll upload any Legacy Sims and other characters for abuse in your games; I haven't updated Accio Granger in ages, and I vaguely recall people making requests that I forgot to fulfill. So yeah. In my mind, 45 is starting to come together and will be normally sized. Nothing too crazy. Hope you enjoyed this picspam!

Hi, everyone!

Chapter 44 is coming along slowly but surely; I shot a big scene last night and I'm about to shoot the next one. From there, I have to arrange two Sims to meet, then shoot a scene with them. I'm visualizing a timeline ATM, sorting and organizing certain things, and already it's helping me file stuff away in my mind. The timeline of the chapter has given me more trouble than I anticipated. Also, I've been working on the O'Brians (an update is about halfway done) and setting stuff up for my turn in the Around The World Round Robin Legacy, because my turn is next. So I'm sorry; I've been doing a lot lately, and of course I get the problem chapter at this point. :| Anyway, to make up for it, here are some sneak peeks at 44, currently entitled "Ghosts of the Past" but I'm not happy with ANYTHING title-wise at the moment.

In other news, today I saw the movie "Inception" and it was wonderful, I definitely recommend it! It's quite fast-paced, so if you're slow on the uptake you might not like it as much as I did. The story was sci-fi woven in with genuine human emotion; there's a lot of focus on the mind of the main character. My dad and I agree that what makes a movie great is the human emotions and the development of one character. Like, "The Sixth Sense" is good because it's not really about ghosts, it's about the psychologist and his emotions and experiences with supernatural stuff going on at the same time.

I highly doubt one was supposed to cry as copiously as I did when viewing "Inception," but I cried like three times. I am cursed to cry at some point in any film I watch now, apparently.

And mind the song; I am contemplating doing a songstory for this with Isla. 'Twill be epic.

FUCK YEAH! I was starting to think Vanessa became infertile or my ACR was borked. They were both nearly half-dead by the time Vanessa got pregnant.

What you see here is the conception of the last child of Generation J. I'm happy it's not twins again, because the plan for this child relies on the fact that he's the youngest and his siblings are a lot older than him. And being a twin doesn't exactly lend itself to that.

The chapter is really coming together to me. The main problem is the time frame. A lot of attention is drawn to spares and their kids in Chapter 44, and I wasn't sure where that fit in the time frame of the chapter. A lot of the spares' kids are a lot older than Joss, Jo, and their younger brother. It makes sense, because Leonard was born while they were all still in college. While I'm looking forward to fleshing out some of the spares' kids, Arthur in particular, it's a lot to juggle. The timing, as I said, really threw me for a loop. At this rate, Main Line Baby #3 is a LOT younger than everybody else.

Spares have been taking the spotlight a lot recently...Ignotus took over in college, and then Isla shared the spotlight with dead!Imago last chapter. Leo and Arthur just take in the tradition of their parents, I suppose. Even Ivy gets in on the action pretty soon.

Arthur's plot in particular is a bit delicate. While Leonard's solely romantic and also contributes to bringing Ivy in, Arthur's deals more with severed family ties, namely the aftermath of his parents' divorce. While I personally have never had to suffer through my parents splitting up, thankfully, people in my immediate family have. I really want it to be...I don't know, respectful. I don't want to trivialize it. Adjusting to life after the divorce isn't easy for Arthur; he loves his little sister and all, but sometimes he wishes things could be how they used to be. But he finds out they never can be again, and it hurts. I just want to represent that with the delicacy and respect it deserves, you know?

I've decided the chapter will conclude with Main Line Baby #3 becoming a toddler, which makes fitting in everything else a lot easier. I've also decided I need a new banner. It'll have some foreshadowing of what's to come. So if anyone's interested in helping me out when the time comes, that'd be great, because last time I requested a banner/avatar, it didn't work out very well. I always feel too shy to be very specific when requesting things from people I don't know...

tl;dr: Chapter 44's coming along rather well. I don't know when you can expect it up by, but it definitely won't be in two months like last time. :)

Also, it's my brother's birthday today. He's turning six. I'm giving him a whole lot of candy as a present. xD

I spent yesterday playing Isla. I'm very nearly done getting all the spares settled in. Faith and Oliver won't be having any kids quite yet because I miss the main house, and everyone else is all set up with their significant others as seen on TV in Chapter 41. This means I have Isla picspam, wooooo!

Super Bowl's on later tonight, so the house smells like chicken wings and I can't watch 24. *whine* There's three episodes left in the season and Jack's girlfriend is being supremely obnoxious and I want to shoot her in the face and Tony and Michelle (aka my 24 OTP) split up after the last season because Tony became an alcoholic and Michelle left and they both dated WAYYYYYY below themselves afterwards with Tony hooking up with some bitchface bartender and Michelle hooking up with this grody old guy at division, CTU's bosses who are obnxious, but now they're working together again and falling in love again and Tony told Michelle he doesn't love the bitch he's with and it's SO GREAT! There was this scene when they were alone and Tony was like "Everything fell apart after you left" and Michelle was like "I didn't want it to be this way" and I was like "SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE" and then a phone rang and I was like "DAMMIT!" So I'm excited.

So earlier this week Jules posted a little short story/drabble type thing for her Legacy. Unsurprisingly we're all going to follow her example because she is Older And More Smarterer And Sets A Good Example.

*blinks* Capitalizing every word is really obnoxious-looking.

But the point is, I got this idea of a short little funny Hermione's ABCs story. I trust you're all familiar with the term 'that's what she said'? Well, isn't Knox exactly the type of person to make such jokes? Thus was born this story, entitiled "That's What She Said." Enjoy!

Also I'm awaiting my new banner, I put in a request but I haven't gotten anything yet. Whatever. It's the weekend now, so everyone should have more free time.

And I finally got my act together and set my picture size to "large" so all my pretty pictures will work better as desktop backgrounds now. And maybe it'll help the quality in chapters, it's always a bit fuzzy.

I want to take a picture of the inhabitants of MiniHouse, aka Generation I, with my nice new picture quality. Won't it be swell? :D

My dad, brother, and I are up to the last two episodes of Season 3 of 24 so we're all very excited. We're wondering how everything's going to finally wrap up. What with gratuitous shipping, terrorists and their daughters who are just a bit shaken up by the realization that her father is a bioterrorist threatening to kill millions of people, superbitches who are somehow not fired or killed (I saw the season finale of Season 7, so yeah), quarantining a horrible virus in LA (because all the shit goes down in LA), ex-wife FROM HELL, obstruction of justice by the President who would have been screwed over even if he'd told the truth, a plot to undo all this shit caused by the President's ex-wife FROM HELL, ships I never really liked anyway in serious danger, an unwavering hope in morals of presidential candidates totally shot, and lots of explosions and gunfire and such.

Oh, and the baby.
